브룩셔 인(Brookshire Inn)

The hotel was older but well maintained. It looks exactly how it does in the online photos. The rooms were super clean and big. It’s 2 stories but there isn’t an elevator, which was fine for us but keep that in mind if you can’t do stairs or in a wheelchair. The staff was so polite. No nearby restaurants except a Papa John’s next door at the gas station, which was also well kept and clean and a 1 minute walk from hotel. My only issue was the free breakfast. Only served coffee to drink. They had individual wrapped donuts and waffles that you cook in a little pop up toaster. Cereal or some fresh fruit would have been a nice touch. It was a nice experience. The little town has great history. If you have kids that need breakfast then I would not suggest this place but for a nice clean place to sleep it’s a good place. The microwave and fridge are good size. Fridge has plenty to of room for milk, juice etc and lots of storage and counter space. No vending machines at all.

Breakfast was very basic continental. No fruit, no yogurt, instant oatmeal, donuts and toaster waffles were the options.

I received a room with an old tv with literally only one channel. No microwave or mini fridge either.

We paid $90 for 1 night as we opened the door to walk up the stairs to our room all we smelled was sweaty nasty armpit. In our room there is NO fridge, NO microwave, and the lights in the room beside the bed did NOT work. Yes we got a smoking room and the covers on the bed had burn holes all over them. And then when we took shower the tub didn't drain. The only thing good abt this hotel was the lady at the front desk tonight when we checked-in. I tried to upload photos but for some reason wouldn't let me

Very affordable, clean, pleasant staff. Didn’t have a fridge, would have liked that. Overall it was an enjoyable stay!

There was a bulb out in one of the lamps. My room was clean, and the entire motel looked spotless. A Papa Johns is a short walk away. Was surprised to see an old type TV but it worked OK. No noise at night.

I was in town for a quick overnight & traveling with two pups… I was running the Hatfield McCoy marathon in Williamson, WV. Thelma and Carissa (forgive me if spelled wrong)… are absolutely wonderful!! They made the check-in, the over night stay and the check-out easy, comfortable and so accommodating. They were so pleasant and helpful. The room was perfect for my one night. And also easy for my two pups. The gas station with a Papa John’s Pizza location inside was the easiest walk over, convenience at its best. I will definitely return to this location if/when I decide to pass through the area again. I absolutely recommend this hotel!!

It was out dated, very noisy. I seen 2 small roaches in the bathroom you could tell they had put something out to kill them they was moving very slow.

Nice quiet place would stay again!
