Beautiful location and beautiful people. The owners are fantastic people, kind and welcoming. They also take care of all your needs. I’m celiac and I could eat everything, they cooked separately for me the thing that I couldn’t eat (also the food was excellent). I will come back for sure!!! Highly recommended!

A unique place surrounded by nature and only a 5 minute walk to the viewing deck overlooking Crocodile river. The decor at the lodge is fabulous and the wonderful owners have thought of every detail. The owners( Willy and Rita) are what really make the place so special. I can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer! It was by far the best lodge I have ever stayed in. The staff are all very kind, welcoming and respectful. The owners are very dedicated, present and attentive to the little things with the guests. The rooms are comfortable, beautiful and very clean. There are many animals that we visited, it was exceptional! I 100% recommend this place and I would gladly return!

We loved our sty at Wielewaal Bush Lodge. The host's are great, food was perfect, lovely staff and location made are stay very enjoyable. I'd happily recommend staying here to family and friends.

Willy and Retha have created a truly surreal and unforgettable experience at Wielewaal Bush Lodge. From the moment you arrive, their warmheartedness and genuine hospitality stand out and make you feel instantly at home. We stayed in a tent as a family of four, which was very comfortable and included air conditioning, real luxury in the bush. While the beds for the kids were a bit firm and space for luggage took some figuring out, these were minor details compared to the overall experience. Every part of our stay was thoughtfully crafted - even though we were visiting the Kruger during the day, we would look forward to coming back to the lodge. From the delicious three-course dinners with very local/Afrikaans influences to the delightful breakfasts, accompanied by the sight of nearby wildlife, the food was consistently excellent. Watching animals while having breakfast is something you have to experience for yourself. Our kids got some sweet potatoes and fed the animals by hand - an experience they will not forget! The kids absolutely loved it, and they were genuinely disappointed when it was time to leave. In fact, they asked if we could return again and we certainly hope to!
