Beautiful grounds surrounded by mountains & green fields. It’s about a ten minute drive into Calvi. There are a couple of seperate buildings with the guest rooms as well as a large tree house. Buildings are in nice reds and yellows. There is a beautiful big pool & a jacuzzi with plenty of places to sunbath. There is a bar area off the reception & a seperate building for the restaurant. My room was very large with its own private outdoor deck looking over the gardens. Other buildings are close to the pool. There are timber floors & nice furniture. The bed was very comfortable with also has a couple of lounge chairs. The bathroom has a separate walk in shower & seperate bath. A small gripe is that there are no bars of hand soap only liquid shower gel, why? There is a seperate room for the toilet and a seperate dressing room. The TV has a large selection of channels and there is good wifi throughout. The breakfast had a tasty selection of good and hot foods which were fresh & delicious. The dinner menu is expensive as are the drinks. It’s a classy five star hotel but it’s a very expense hotel.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The room (a Suite Demeure) was spacious, stylish and super comfortable. The grounds of the hotel were truly lovely (kudos to the hard working groundskeepers who work to keep all the plants and pathways in great condition). We ate at the "Bistrot dans les Herbes" bistronomique restaurant and had great food, great ambiance and excellent service, and often enjoyed a drink at the bar in the evening, which was served attentively and tastily. What we most enjoyed was the incredibly attentive breakfast staff who greeted us with a smile and our favorite coffee order every morning - kudos to Mathilde especially!

An excellent hotel in the countryside outside Calvi. Everything about it from the room (tree house) to environment and food. The staff were all without exception friendly and helpful. It is expensive but you get what you pay for. We stayed for 3 nights but wished we could have had longer to explore around the site

It my 5 th stay at La Signoria and as always it’s the most relaxing vacation. Beautiful authentic architecture , the breakfast is superb, the staff is always smiling, can’t wait to go back. I have stayed in different rooms and the suite demeure are simply perfect.

What became apparent from the minute we arrived was that customer care and high service levels were the norm at this luxurious hotel we were lucky to call home for a few nights. Everyone from reception, management, housekeeping and restaurant made our stay memorable so it was impossible to single any particular person out for praise. Reception staff appeared on the car park as if by magic to welcome us and take care of luggage. We were provided with a refreshing drink and cool towels during the quick and efficient check in. We were given an orientation tour of the hotel facilities before being shown to our fabulous room, a surprise upgrade, overlooking the park-like gardens. The bedroom was huge with an exceptionally comfortable bed, the whole suite being tastefully furnished. Everywhere was spotless and the bath and shower were especially good. Breakfast was exceptionally good, taken overlooking the pool and gardens, with an ample range of food to satisfy everyone. The fresh honeycomb was the highlight for us. Again there were ample attentive staff, only too willing to help out. Dinner was also very good, served by attentive and professional but never intrusive staff. There is an extensive wine selection. Yes, the hotel is not cheap and therefore a high standard should be expected. However not even the most expensive hotels always achieve those standards but La Signoria certainly has, it provided us with a truly memorable stay. Thank you.

This is the real Shangri-la. It was so peaceful and perfect here, with clean fresh mountain air and splendor on every corner. The pictures do not tell you enough. The mountain air was so fresh here, it healed all of my pain and anxiety. I did not want to leave. I wanted to stay longer. There are so many pretty hotels in this world, and this is one of them, but this one stands out because of the fresh air and the attentive caring service you get from their staff.
