EJ Bowan House is one of our "go to" places when we are headed to the Lancaster , PA area. Over the past twenty five years, my husband and I have stayed in close to 50 bed and breakfasts - never staying more than once as there are so many different places to see ...However, this was a return visit - a third one ... Scott and Diane make everyone feel like family . The house is beautiful and the meals are top notch !

Awesome B&B..Diane and Scott are the host and hostes with the mostest. Breakfast are the BEST!!! Bed sheets are luxurious. Love that they sit with us at Breakfast. This was our 3 time there and we will be back. Convenient to go to Sight and Sound. Restaurants in the area are great too

This house is high end. It has a very stately architecture. The owners are super helpful and keep this inn very clean and well maintained. It is located central to all the attractions in the Lancaster area, with many eating establishments available.

We loved our time at this beautiful B&B. The owners/hosts Diane and Scott warmly greeted us when we arrived and were attentive and responsive to every request during our three-might stay. My room was quaintly decorated, immaculately clean, and with a comfortable bed. The breakfasts were delicious. We recommend highly.

This is an amazing place! Very reasonable rates. The house is absolutely gorgeous and the host are absolutely amazing. The layout of the home was unique and the history was intriguing. The breakfast was delicious every morning and there no need for lunch after eating the huge breakfast. The room was immaculate. The beds were very comfortable and if we had forgotten anything the host would have had us covered. The rooms decor was beautiful as was the entire home. The landscaping was beautiful and the pond out back was awesome. The grass was so so green and thick. Diane’s gift shop was awesome! We were there for a mother daughter antique shopping trip and the house is centrally located to all the great antique shops. Also located close to the Amish community. I cannot say enough good things about this B&B! We will definitely be staying here again in the future! Would recommend to anyone!

We were having work done on our house nearby and needed to sleep elsewhere for a night or two. Lovely hosts, serene murals in historic home, beautiful garden, easy secure access to room & house, and the breakfast was specially made to accommodate my food intolerance. You can tell the owners enjoy what they are doing and Chef Scott loves to cook. TIPS for Lancastrians needing a place for out of town guests, this is a home away from home. For Out-of-Towners, especially first time in area, you receive current local 'Discover Lancaster' info and lots of insider tips. This is not the tourist route. T There is a nearby convenience store and other small stores. Plus take kids to Brickheads Used Lego Store, just a block away!

We had a much need and very restful weekend. Dianne and Scott are the best!! There are also many pleasant places to visit and shop while there. I would suggest Lititz for anyone who enjoys small shops and a true Hallmark experience. We love it!!

This is our third visit to this lovely establishment.It has never disappointed us.Diane and Scott are courteous. Breakfast never disappoints. We have meant wonderful people at this cozy B and B. The house also has a great history . I look forward to returning.
