Good size bed and very comfy. Was very warm and cozy. Breakfast was great. We also had a meal the night before which came fast and hot.

Really cute cosy place. I stayed a couple of nights on a weekend trip exploring the city and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were a super friendly and helpful bunch. It is in the heart of the city so it was easy to head out and explore. The food was great and the rooms were really comfy so I felt right at home. Highly recommended to all.

I stayed at the Oxnoble with a friend of mine. We had a great stay and was very convenient as there is a tram and train stop less than five minutes walk away. We also had breakfast at the oxnoble before we left and I can say the big breakfast is just what you need to get you started in the morning. Would recommend

What can I say?! This was a pre-booked meal with our menu choices provided in advance. Food: The festive menu said: hand-carved turkey Served with pork, cranberry & fig stuffing, pigs in blankets, crisp roast potatoes, a Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables and rich beef gravy. Where was the stuffing? Where were the pigs in blankets? Where was the seasonal veg - sprouts, carrots, parsnips? We just got broccoli. Now onto the service: Sporadic and slow. Some of us had finished our course before others had even got theirs. We had to ask several times for cutlery meanwhile the food was going cold. The wait between courses went on and on.

What a shame, this used to be a gastro pub with nice food and surroundings. Not sure if it was a by product of COVID maybe but it's now a sports bar with very average food and a large TV on every wall. Maybe times have changed but this bat definitely has and not for the better ☹️

I was left tired, cold, with no electric and vulnerable being a lone lady traveler!!!!!! I was shown to a lovely, very clean room with no fire escape in the event of a fire as my door wouldn’t open properly. All rooms are being refurbished which is great but just close the hotel side for the night! Had no sleep due to a snoring staff member arriving at midnight and sleeping in the half empty room adjacent. Woken abruptly at 8am by a team of workmen drilling and shouting in same room. The room’s are freezing but had no extra duvet or blankets. My electric was turned off so couldn’t make a cup of tea even or charge my phone. The shower would not move up, was fine if you are 3ft. The sink did not empty and the tap leaked. All in all a rubbish experience that left me cold, very tired and vulnerable in the middle of it all and I don’t think anyone realised I was staying there. I did speak to the manager and had an apology but the hotel should have been closed and bookings cancelled or at least warned.

Fab place to stay ....beds were nice and comfy ...staff friendly and polite ...the only reason this isn't a 5* review is there was no coffee in the room only tea. A little heads up .... take some earplugs ...this is a pub and as such the music is very loud and is still playing after midnight ....didn't bother us but probably would dome people

Stopped by The Oxnoble for a quick pint and some food this afternoon and was surprised by an excellent live act, great choices of ipa and lots of variety on cask too, food was speedy and very good, I had the rump steak and the wife had a seafood pie, the live music was very entertaining and we ended up staying for the duration of their set. Very happy, will visit again.
