Melas Resort Hotel

Hotel and all its surroundings are very clean, very looked after beach too. Nice and very spacious hotel room with very comfortable beds. Every night I had a good sleep. Restaurants a la carte style. Food is very good , everybody will find something they like to eat. Every night is different cuisine in main restaurant. I liked atmosphere in this hotel also because its very European guests and their very well behaved family members. Staff is very friendly, very hardworking even during days when temperatures reach over 40 degrees Celsius . You are being served in no time. My parents and me with my partner , we had fantastic holiday here. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Melas for great experience, thank you behind the scene hard working staff in the kitchen I loved the food and cakes , thank you for clean dishes, thank you all waiters and waitresses, thank you man on the beach who cleans sun beds and put the parasol up. Thank you lady who kept our room clean. Location wise, very convenient to anything you want to do, eat out , shopping, sightseeing , Turkish bath and also there is a bus stop outside of the hotel hop on and enjoy very cheap ride to Old Side Town. Honestly I don’t know the price we paid like 1€ per person.

I have been in many hotels in Antalya but this hotel has been the best so far. From the start, they welcome you warmly at the reception. Especially Dilara is very kind and she has a huge smile on her face all the time. Our room is on the 6th floor , room 1644 and has a garden view. We partly can see the sea as well, bonus! Mrs Ates has been making our room ready for us every single day with lovely decorations. Your towels are replaced, mini bar is topped up, tea and coffee are stocked up. You don’t need to chase after anything! Our room is in a quiet area, lovely! The food is delicious! It’s not repetitive. Fresh food, fruit, salads, pastries are served all day long. Cocktails are made with original spirits. There are everything that you think of, you name it -they make it My son says he has the best milkshake here! The sea is the warmest part of the Mediterranean sea. Hotel has a private beach with both sand and shingles. Non stop food and drink service carried on at the beach as well. Aqua park is in the next door Melas holiday village. Short walk , not a problem. Last but not least the STAFF! They make our experience lovely. Every single one of them whom I came across was so kind, friendly and helpful. They are doing a great job and making this hotel different than others. I really hope that they are being treated well and fairly! Huge thanks to Yasin, Idris, Cemile, the guys at the beach bar, the waiter who served us at the fish restaurant! I am so regretful that I can’t get all of their names. But thank you so much! Highly recommended!

We truly recommend this hotel, the staff is an incredibly kind, helpful and very welcome. The rooms are very clean, wide variety of food and very tasty. Fatih is very friendly, kind and provide very good entertainment. The hotel is located in very good place and beach is very clean.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Melas Hotel—by far the best stay we’ve ever had. The hotel itself is stunning, and the amenities are top-notch, offering everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, ensuring every detail was perfect. A special mention must go to the Kids Club, run by Nadia and Elif. They were incredible with the children, offering a wide range of fun and engaging activities every day. Our kids absolutely loved it and couldn’t wait to go back each morning. It really made the holiday even more enjoyable for the whole family. Highly recommended—we would definitely return!

Melas Hotel , Side, Turkey I stayed at this hotel for the last week in February 2025. It was my first stay at this hotel, although I have stayed many times in neighbouring hotels. I was greeted at reception and was immediately made to feel welcomed. The checkin process was quick and efficient and I was served with my choice of drink as I waited to be taken to my room. I connected to the hotel WiFi almost immediately using a very simple process. The room was spacious and clean with a bath/shower and a safe. An unusual feature was the provision of beach/pool towels in the room as opposed to the more common practice of a card system. The towels would be replaced, along with the dirty bath and hand towels if you simply left them on the floor. I could request my room to be cleaned and made up each day unless the "do not disturb" sign was hung on the door The food was buffet style and served in the main restaurant at various times throughout the day, encompassing breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night snacks. Hot and cold beverages (including alcohol),were served at table by very well trained and courteous waiters. The quality and variety of the food was excellent.There was always an amazing choice of soups, fish, meat (clearly not pork),pasta,rice, vegetables salad ,cheeses and vegetarian. There were nightly themes at dinner (e.g. Italian, Turkish....).the sweet and pudding stations were truly amazing. There surely must have been enough choice to suit everyone. Service in the lobby bar was excellent. Being out of season , the bar was very seldom overcrowded and table service was usually very quick.Even during busy periods the hotel provided enough staff to keep waiting times quite reasonable. The bar staff's knowledge of cocktails and various drinks was impressive in all the hotel bars. The lobby bar provided 24 hour service. The bar staff were more than happy to make you a cocktail according to your instructions. I commend the hotel management for this and most other services which it provides. Entertainment was fairly low key. The animation team was rarely seen but provided an adequate program considering the time of year and pretty much in line with the normal expected activities such as poolside aerobics, darts, Turkish lessons etc. Nightly entertainment consisted mostly of live music and dancing. I have to say that one or two of the groups were excellent. Of course, it's all a matter of taste. The hotel does point out in its own publicity that people who have mobility issues may find negotiating around the hotel challenging. I will try and describe the layout with this in mind Like most hotels in the area the ground floor ( lobby, reception and restaurant) is accessed from the main boulevard which runs past the hotel driveway. This hotel driveway is quite long and steep in some parts. This presents a challenge if you have mobility issues. However, in my case the hotel provided transport to the main gate and back when I needed it in
