Nice Pool. Quite. Natur around Hotel. 5min walk to the beach.

Just back from an amazing week at Ledra Maleme. I cannot put one word of criticism for this brilliant place. It was spotlessly clean, perfectly located just 5 mins from the beach, supermarket and local restaurants, the room was modern and beds comfortable and clean. The pool is the only holiday pool I have ever been in that is at the perfect temperature, no shock getting in, just cool enough to take the heat out. We ate at the hotel a few times and the food was freshly cooked and so tasty. Cretian night was great fun! Mr Costas works so hard to make sure all the guests are looked after. Every aspect of the holiday was perfect, from the taxi transfer, to getting the little train to the waterpark, the bus to chania, the weather if course, and Cretian people are so welcoming and helpful, I simply cannot fault it at all. Perfect!!! Thank you Crete!

lovely family run hotel very clean modern looking rooms very chilled family atmosphere,pebbly beach about 5 minutes walk. large supermarket around the corner a few restaurants tavernas close by bus stop top of road for easy access into chani and along the coast . plantanias resort about 5 minutes bus ride . would definitely consider coming back . even got free upgrade to superior apartment 👍

What an amazing place to stay, spotlessly clean friendly staff and weather was amazing! The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily! Maleme is very small village so not a lot of restaurants esp in oct as there are a lot that are closed. We got the bus a few times into Chania as there was more choice, this cost less than €5 for two of us one way but well worth the visit. We would def return to Crete and this hotel thank you Costa and team for a lovely holiday.

When my wife and I go on holiday all we usually do is sit on the beach and relax. We chose the Ledra due to being so close to the beach, however we did not spend one day on the beach. The relaxing environment around the pool was absolutely fantastic with all day sunshine (plenty of umbrellas if to hot) and a poolside bar one side of pool and a restaurant the other side you have all you ever need. Costa the owner is everywhere in the complex and is all ways at hand to help you enjoy the experience even more. There are not many restaurants in Maleme but don't bother with any of them because the Ledra restaurant is fantastic for either light lunch or evening meal. An added bonus is we have meet some new life long friends and it was the atmosphere of the Ledra and facilities that enhanced the friendship, The rooms are plenty big enough and have everything you need for a self catering holiday. Finally a big thank you Costa, Peter and all the staff - see you next year.

Well what can I say about our home from home..I was diasapointed to read some of the negative reports, but as for our experience. We've come to the Ledra now on our eigth vist..Its easy to book direct with Maria and George or on one of the package operators. An extremly lovley welcome as always from Costas and Micheal. As always our rooms were spotlessly clean and airy,We had room 55 and our freinds had the next room in the newer block.The food again supurb and prepaired freshly and on the day, unless something had to be marinated. Our friends also enjoyed.Its a place where we brought other family memers and Costas and Micheal have mde us all feel welcome...the pool always clean, sunbeds clean and never that full..We've birthdays and anniversaries, all fantastic....We regard them as extended family and will always return year after year...just a foot note...My Mother and father inlaw also loved it her, they wer very well traveled and stayed in some of the best hotels,cruses and yachts...My mother inlaw said to me one day...If she was top win the lottery ..She would just come to The Ledra because its every thing she wanted out of a hotel,brilliant services and wonderfull people...Sadly now both passed, but ther is a heart in the olive tree there so they can be rememberd...
