My wife and I stayed at this hotel in September, (room 104). Lovely room with a great view, looking over the beach /sea.The room could do with a bit more wardrobe space and some drawers , but apart from that it was perfectly adequate. We would definitely recommend this hotel, the breakfasts and the meals we had were very good. The whole staff (reception, cleaners, waiters) were excellent,really helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this hotel and Makarska,as a great hotel and destination for a lovely summer holiday 😎

This was our second holiday at this hotel,the rooms are ery modern with comfy beds and modern bathroom.The rooms are serviced daily, the breakfasts are buffet style with a good selection of fruit, yoghurts, pastries etc and you cn order omelets and other hot breakfast food.We chose the half board option and the evening meals were served outdoors overlooking the sea, great choice and waiterservice.The staff are lovely, as are the waiters, reception staff and the owners.It certainly deserves a four star rating

Small family run hotel where nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff. The hotel ideally situated almost on the beach. There is a lovely coastal walkway to the main town and harbour where there are plenty of bars and restaurants along the way. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The food is wonderful and plentiful and I will guarantee you will return home a few pounds heavier. All the rooms are lovely but I would recommend booking a sea view room. Once again I cannot praise the wonderful staff enough!! If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday this is the place to go!

I can't praise this wonderful hotel enough. This was our 40th wedding anniversary gift to ourselves. We were made to feel so welcome and friends with many of the staff in such a short period of time. Everything was just fantastic from the location, the hotel rooms and amenities to the beach literally 40 meters from the front of the hotel across a promenade that runs from Makarska harbour some 2 km out along the front of the shoreline. I booked with Jet2 as a package holiday for 9 nights and I must say that the experience was almost perfect. Great flight times including the coach transfer from Split airport to the hotel approximately 1 1/2 hours. For a 1st time visit to Croatia I wish I had discovered this incredibly beautiful country years ago. The Dalmatian Riviera is a name well deserved and I intend to return next year for 2-3 weeks. I hit the jackpot when i booked this holiday package.

This was our first visit to Makarska and to the Maritimo Hotel. Hotel is in a great location with lovely walks along the sea front with lots of bars and restaurants close by. Hotel is spotless on the beach front. Great choice of food and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Would definately recommend this hotel and location and will definately be back. 10 out of 10
