Very bad services, i havent expected these kind of services from diwa club, during buffet breakfast no response from satff after repeated order for tea and water and room service are verry bad again no response from staf, shame on diwa club.....

Overall we had a wonderful stay at the Ailia Diwa Club. We opted for a package for two days which allowed all food and drinks to be included, spa treatments etc which was well worth the money and we felt like it was great value for a family of 4. There were some things that we felt could be improved to really live up to a 5 star instead of in reality being a (very good) 4 star hotel. Pros: * Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, 2 of us had celiac disease and the kitchen staff and chefs were really helpful telling us what we can/cant eat and even brought out gluten free bread and pancakes. Head chef Chandra Sharma made sure we were well looked after. * The facilities were really nice, we liked both pools and there were always plenty of beds * The rooms were massive, clean and well furnished * The spa was wonderful, we had massages and they were great * For our parents wedding anniversary the staff made a real effort with sparkling wine, a cake, a private table for dinner and decorations - it was really great Improvements: * Service times - most of the food we got was good but it always took a LONG time to arrive. Average waiting time at lunch or dinner was +40 mins from sitting down to our food arriving * Service at the Edge bar was very very poor. Despite +10 people working there when we went one day for lunch (and 2 other tables of customers) it took 20 mins when we sat down just to be handed a menu so we decided to go for lunch somewhere else * Some of the food was sub par for what you would expect for a 5 star resort, I ordered steak medium and it was still raw in the middle * The wifi in the resort wasn’t great, we had to use our e-sims to get internet a lot of the time * The beach wasn’t great - although there is a shuttle from the hotel there are no beds/shades so we didn’t spend any time there, we think this is an area the hotel could improve to enhance the guest experience Massive thanks in particular to: * Saina (Restaurant) * Chelsea (Guest Relations) * Colin (Pool) * Raju (Restaurant) * Sourav (Restaurant) * Ramesh (Chef) * Chandra (Chef) * Becky (Spa) & all the Spa team (sorry didn’t get everyones names) * Aradhana (Guest Relations) who all made our stay :)

A return visit – 7-night stay – about 6 weeks after last one in January - a very warm welcome everywhere Staying in the Club wing gave us return transfer to and from the airport – and so we were picked up in the hotel’s new BYD limo – very nice – and returned in the same. This time stayed in room 365 – top floor overlooking the pool and Bistro – large room – separate living and bathroom spaces – comfy bed – controllable air conditioning – seating – bathroom area – hanging and storage space – large bath – separate walk-in shower – toilet – large balcony with overhead fan and lounging seats. Guests at the Club get sole access to the pool – breakfast in the adjoining Bistro – afternoon tea – canapes and cocktails for an hour from 6 pm We ate in all of the restaurants except the Spice Studio which was doing a themed buffet only menu – all were very good and for the standard of the hotel well priced. It is slightly more expensive to stay at the Club but worth it as it is a pampered experience that is closely guarded by the staff who repel any interlopers. This is a good hotel but it has to be said that with such establishments it depends heavily on the quality of its staff – and that is its strength – the staff are warm and welcoming and attentive to the needs of their guests – thank you

It's not often that we return to hotels, but we were very happy to find ourselves back at the Diwa Club by Alila. We really love this hotel and were so pleased to see so many familiar faces who made our stay, yet again, an excellent one. Staying over on 'club side' is definitely the right choice for us - great rooms with a fabulous pool for early morning swimming before it gets too hot! We think the food and drink options across the entire hotel are of a very high standard, with The Edge providing an AC haven with a great 'light bites' menu that worked for us. Every member of staff clearly goes above and beyond to make sure guests have a fabulous stay - the housekeeping team and gardeners clearly work tirelessly, we really appreciated their hard work. Our thanks go to everyone at Alila but there were a few who (we can only apologise!) had to put up with us quite a bit! Thank you Chelsea for answering our endless questions prior to and during our stay and to Ramchandra for all of the pool love (Colin we were so happy to see you, even if very briefly). And, finally, to those who kept us permanently fed and with a drink (or drinks) in hand - Sawrab, Mevan, Velanciao, Soulman & Saina. It was great to catch up - a year on - with Dinesh who has become truly skilled in the art of service and also with Sourav, who was always on hand with his true professionalism and commitment to making sure guests have the ultimate Alila experience. Overall great stay!! Diwa club has premium rooms and all facilities were amazing. Beach shuttle is available, sundowner is awesome in evening and Chai time is good too. Although in Chai time, they need to offer different varieties everyday which they are not doing much now.
