We had the sweetest two night stay at Coq du Bonheur. We chose to come to Magog because we could see on the map that it would be at the center of the totality for the eclipse. We had no idea what the town would be like and hadn't really scrutinized the B and B options too carefully. We were just thrilled that all three of their rooms were available as we were traveling with our son and friends. Right away my phone interactions with Denis and Sylvie were delightful and I had a very good feeling about their place. A few weeks before the eclipse Sylvie surprised and delighted us with an email telling us she had purchased us eclipse glasses! When we arrived we discovered what a great location Coq au Bonheur was in. Just minutes from the big park (where we watched the eclipse) with walking paths alongside beautiful Lake Memphremagog and the very nice downtown of Magog so we could walk to the excellent restaurants there. Everything at Coq du Bonheur was PERFECT. And the breakfast was off the charts! Best we've ever had at any B and B. A four course breakfast, with freshly made smoothies, an expertly cooked gourmet egg dish, homemade loaf bread, and excellent coffee. All of our interactions with Sylvie and Denis were so positive and friendly. They are attentive but not fussy. They are very genuine people who clearly like people. Now that we have discovered Magog and the Eastern Townships of Quebec, we will be back! And there is no doubt we will stay at Coq du Bonheur!

Au Coq du Bonheur is an ideal b&b in Magog. Three beautifully appointed and sparklingly clean rooms. A living room dedicated to guests. A pool. Parking, even with an EV charging station. A short walk to the main lakeside park and to downtown Magog. Delicious breakfasts. And, best of all, welcoming and attentive hosts Sylvie and Denis.

Très bel accueil. Sylvie et Denis sont très sympathiques et attentionnés. Le déjeuner est succulent et la chambre est propre. Ils prennent le temps de s’informer pour les allergies alimentaires. Ils nous donnent des suggestions pour les restaurants et les activités. La borne de recharge pour notre véhicule fut très appréciée. Le gîte est situé tout près de la rue principale. Ils sont de très bons ambassadeurs pour leur région. Merci!

Ma première expérience en B&B . Court séjour, Denis et Sylvie très accueillants, chaleureux , un brin de jasette dans nos vies, on se sent chez soi. Ils sont soucieux d'apporter une petite coche de plus. Côté déjeuner vraiment excellent. Un gros merci ça fait du bien. Guylaine et Lucie!

Accueil chaleureux et professionnel. Petit déjeuner divin. Endroit agréable et paisible, bien entretenu. On est comme chez soi en famille et en confiance. Personnel courtois, respectueux et attentionné. Les pièces sont décorées avec goût.

Belle chambre avec tout le nécessaire et plus, petit frigo à disposition, bouteilles d’eau bien froides mises à notre disposition. Les hôtes sont des plus accueillants, discrets et très amicaux. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et vraiment délicieux. Je recommande chaudement ce B&B.
