호텔 램텔 인(Hotel Ramtel Inn)

Booked through Agoda, paid full in advance. We went from Chennai to Madurai for a trip and the only spoiler that we had was this hotel. All the aspects of this hotel was bad. We decided immediately to choose another property and luckily there was a very good place nearby and we went there.

Very very worst. Don't ever choose this hotel.No parking facility, guideness etc. No refund because of their poor facility so their collecting the charges fully when you enter. Be cautious again again please don't choose this hotel . No response speech. Aragont reply. Very very worst. We have not seen such poor place to stay. We felt very bad , disturbed on seeing such poor and worst hotel but getting more payment. Most of hotels will get the remaining amount only in checkout but here they getting when entering itself it shows their cunning ideas for their poor place to earn. No person to carry our luggage , no hot water for 24hrs.

Following are the points which I like/Dislike 1. Its not a hotel. Its a well built & maintained lodge. For me a Hotel is a place which has all the services like room service, In house kitchen, parking, multiple staff for service etc. 2. No inhouse kitchen, they have a restaurant next door where you can go and eat. they don't allow room service. 3. Car parking is 80-100 mtrs away totally separate from the hotel premise. You have take the security guard ***** with you to open the lock of the parking & move your car. This entire process of Parking is very very inconvenient. 4. No fridge inside the room. Rooms are neat & clean but have mosquitoes as the bathroom window is open and is exposed for the insects. 5. Only suitable for single business travellers who are not looking for any service. For a family, I do not recommend at all. 6. Location is at a major city junction hence it is full of traffic. 7. I booked this hotel because I was confused with the way these travels websites display the information under these hotel sections. Like they will say restaurant available but it will be adjoining restaurant and not hotel's. I can say my house has 5000sqft park but actually it will be a municipal park right next to my house. 8. The place has a very low staff and you dont get to watch hindi channels on TV. So, if your are in room get ready to be bored.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed recently in terms of the staff/***ager behaviour. Highly disappointed and definitely not recommended. Issues: - The booking I made through Agoda with the option for Large bed as I was travelling with family and kid. I also got the confirmation from Hotel through Agoda that they confirmed that they will arrange Large bed instead of Twin bed well before the Check-in time. But when we check-in they gave twin-bed room only and said that you booked only this room, that too in a rude ***ner. We didn't speak and checked in. - We came to know few mins after check-in that they have another large bed room a guest just vacated, which costs even lesser than the given twin-bed room. When we were requesting to check-in to that room the ***ager said he cannot do that as he may not get booking if he do so. When we asked why did you confirm our request in Agoda that they will arrange Large bed room - he said that it was the only option he had to respond to our request. How dumb these people? Without proper knowledge or training they simply click whatever and making trouble at the time of checkin for the guests. Highly unprofessional and not-fit to partner with Agoda or any other platform. Disappointed with Agoda for not providing any option for us to report or rectify this matter that too while or after check-in. May not use Agoda again for any booking. - We found that the windows is damaged and cannot lock the window. Through this window anytime anyone can easily open and get into the room. Photos and videos attached. In the photo and video we can see the Grill, Mosquito net and then sliding window. Grill is not locked and can be opened. Mosquito net doesn't have any lock. Also the sliding window also doesn't have any lock. Outside the window is a passage for other rooms. - Worst part is, when we complain about this window issue, they simply saying that this is how it is and it is secured only. Also they claim that do not worry, no one will enter into to room like that. What a behaviour is that? - Twin-bed size. These cots are fitted to floor and it is too short for even a skinny person.
