If you want an authentic rustic vineyard and historic country manor experience then this is the place. Anne & Jean Christophe run a wonderful historic family home on a B&B basis. The old family house is charming and rustic. There is WiFi, and there is a wonderful old lounge (communal area which encourages the guest to interact) with TV, tea & coffee, a full-size snooker table and the icing on the cake a few bottles of the family's own wine produce for 'tasting' purposes. The gardens are informal and pretty and the birdlife is excellent for a 'birder' like me. Anne provided a wonderful breakfast around a large dining table for all the guests. I found this hotel very calming and restful and wished we could have stayed longer!

Anne is the consummate host offering a very comfortable French country-style experience in a 16th century manor house nestled in the center of award-winning vineyard grounds tended by her husband Jean Christophe. Perfectly located near many beautiful small villages, bustling market towns, and the two larger town of Tours and Amboise that offer markets, stylish shops, and fine restaurants to suit all tastes. Such all-around experience as Anne presents is unmatched anywhere and she does this all with laughter and a sparkling personality. We have stayed with her many times over the last 10 years and look forward to many stays in the coming years.

What a great experience the Pintray is! From a wonderful host (Ann!) to the wine tasting by Jean Christophe, we could not have been welcomed warmer. The rooms are HUGE, the Chateau is very charming, and wait until you see the breakfast table. I want to go back just to stay here for a week. Thank you so much for having us.

Our family (7 of us) went to Chateau de Pintray. We couldn't have had a better experience. The property is lovely and the vineyards are beautiful. We were charmed by our hostess Anne. Loved, loved, loved it!!!! There was a large family room that we took over at night, brought in charcuterie and enjoyed the Chateau's excellent wine. We enjoyed meeting a Swedish couple (Axel and Clara) who were also staying on their honeymoon and celebrated with them for 2 nights. Beds were comfortable. As in all places outside American hotels, there is no air conditioning but it cools off at night. Breakfast was fresh croissants, fruit, ham, cheese, yogurt, tea and coffee. Could not make a better recommendation for this Chateau. No elevator so book your room on the appropriate floor.

Un accueil très sympathique et bienveillant. Un petit déjeuner gourmand dans une demeure authentique. Production de vin bio et dégustation à la demande rajoute un intérêt supplémentaire à un séjour très agréable dans une région paisible et aux attraits multiples

Ein Ort der Ruhe in Mitten von Weinbergen und nahe am Wald! Bei wolkenlosem Himmel hat eine wunderbare Aussicht auf den Sternenhimmel. Die Zimmer sind bequem und sauber! Das Team ist hilfsbereit und freundlich! Das Frühstück findet fast familiär in einem schönen Raum um einen großen, reichlich gedeckten Tisch herum statt. Die Croissants sind so gut, dass wir alle nach der Bäckerei gefragt haben (sie kommen angeblich aus einer der beiden Bäckereien in Saint-Martin-le-Beau)! Der Platz ist der optimale Ausgangspunkt für Auto- und Fahrradausflüge! Wir haben auch einen Tage einfach nur im Garten im Schatten sitzend ausklingen lassen. Tee und Kaffee stehen jederzeit kostenlos zur Verfügung und es ist täglich eine neue 1,5 L Flasche Wasser am Zimmer! Wir würden sofort wieder kommen!
