호텔 레 오랑제리(Hôtel les Orangeries)

Where do I start? We were recommended this hotel by someone in the next village as there was no accommodation available there. We paid €155 for a room that was faded, shabby and in need of repair (see photos). Window was falling apart and there was a hole in the floor. The whole place was shabby and felt dirty. The lounge area looked like my local junk shop. I think there was the intention of being chic, sorry but you failed. There was a strange window at waist height in the shower, I’m not sure what that was for, maybe there was a voyeur about? We ate in the restaurant and it took an hour to receive our main course, maybe that was punishment for not ordering a starter. The food was mediocre. Then despite specifically asking for tap water I found I had been charged €4.75 for the water. I was told they charge for water was because they have a expensive filtration system, they did reimburse me. Breakfast was mediocre. There was nothing in this hotel that inspired me. I cannot recommend and I will not return.

On the whole a really lovely stay. The garden is lovely and I enjoyed a swim. Beautiful to look at. A cosy lounge indoors. Handy location. A really enjoyable dinner and friendly staff. Our room was noisy with the window open and stuffy and hot with it closed. Quite cramped and odd bathroom. No fan etc. No kettle in room and no way of getting a hot drink that I could see. The garden furniture was covered in bird poo so needed a wipe. On balance a good stay. I would return

A first visit recommended by a local chef friend - did not disappoint, we ate in the courtyard garden near the pool, relaxed, excellent food with possibility to order wine by the glass - including wine from our favourite vineyard Ampelidae. Would love to return in winter for Sunday lunch in front of the fire

We live in the region, so had decided to book ourselves a last minute overnight treat. We know this hotel - it's always been classy and romantic. We've eaten at the restaurant many times. It's always been fabulous - and we weren't disappointed. There are still the familiar faces delivering a brilliant service that creates a great atmosphere. We were lucky with the weather, and had the pool to ourselves. It was difficult to know which room we were going to get - which was a shame, because we would have been happy to pay more for for a room overlooking the garden rather than the road. However, we spent most of the time out of the room, and the double glazing is fantastic and you barely hear a sound. The room was small but very nice, with a great shower. We have already booked our next visit.

J’avais réservé 2 chambres pour moi et mon fournisseur. Bon accueil en arrivant. Le bâtit est très charmant dans un esprit vieille auberge mais très sympa. Le point remarquable revient à la partie restauration où j’ai été bluffé par la qualité des plats et ses saveurs. C’est rare d’avoir une entrée plat dessert pour 29€. Bonne note également au jeune homme pour le service. J’y retournerai avec plaisir.

Superbe hôtel, très spacieux, belles salles, décoration magnifique le personnel est très pro. Repas très copieux, choix très variés, belle carte de vins, le petit déjeuner varié, le serveur est très qualifié, c est un bel endroit A recommander

Une halte super sympa, avec un hôtel de charme datant de la fin du 18 ème siècle. Un accueil hyper sympathique. Un restaurant certifié maître restaurateur avec du fait maison, des légumes bios et du potager, pour un menu pas plus cher que nombre de pizzérias ! Une rénovation à la hauteur des critères actuels ( une insonorisation tip top qui isole de la circulation de l'avenue adjacente). Une adresse donc doublement recommandable.

Jolie bâtisse de caractère. Accueil très agréable tant pour l’hôtel que pour le restaurant. Nous regrettons cependant la température très élevée dans la chambre à l’issue d’une après midi particulièrement chaude. Néanmoins le confort est au niveau et la chambre est décorée avec goût. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié notre expérience dans le restaurant de l’hôtel. Un personnel particulièrement accueillant et discret. Le serveur dédié à notre table est de bon conseil pour les accords mets/vins entre autre, nous ne manquons absolument de rien tant il garde un œil permanent et en toute discrétion sur notre table. Le repas est tout simplement incroyablement délicieux, fin délicat et magnifiquement dressé sur une belle vaisselle. Un grand bravo à toute l’équipe, un conseil pour la direction, gardez précieusement et prenez soin ce personnel de qualité 🙏🏼

Excellent hôtel. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien décorées, le jardin est magnifique, la piscine de 35 mètres parfaite. bravo. Cerise sur le gâteau: les petits déjeuners et le sourire de l'équipe
