South Court Inn

We really enjoyed our stay here and both decided it really was one of the nicest bed and breakfasts we have visited. The decor, room theming, breakfasts and afternoon snacks were beyond our expectations. My husband loved all the little hidden touches in the Expeditionist room-almost like being in an Escape Room looking for clues! And it really did have the comfiest chair in the house. The hosts were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. We spent a day hiking on Skyline Drive and returned to a nice dinner at the Chophouse. The only sad note of our anniversary weekend was that the Main Street Flavors ice cream shop was not open during our visit. But the rest of the weekend more than made up for it. Highly recommend!

Charming, lovely, classic and that just starts describing the hosts. The inn instills a sense of calm and serenity. The attention to detail is inspiring. We stayed in the Huntsman. Each room is themed. Mass cudos to Shannon who not only is one of the host/owners but is an excellent chef as well. Breakfast each morning was creative, ample and most of all absolutely delicious! Excellent venue for couples, solo or friends. I am already trying to figure out how (and when) we can return.

Excellent experience! Perfect location for the Luray Caverns, Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park and a bunch of other attractions. Perfectly appointed sleeping rooms and shared areas. Beautiful grounds and an especially excellent breakfast.

I am not one to write reviews, but this is a top notch place!! My husband and I just visited the area to explore Shenandoah National Park. Shannon and Joe are amazing and you can truly tell that they love hosting at their beautiful Inn. They are so welcoming and make sure that you feel comfortable. They are a wealth of information regarding the park and the general area for things to do and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast is absolutely incredible!! I consider myself a foodie and they just raised the bar on my expectations for other B&B places we stay in the future. If you are considering this area for a get away, look no further than South Court Inn Bed and Breakfast... you will love it!

What a wonderful experience at the South Court Inn this summer! The innkeepers, Shannon and Joe, thought of absolutely everything to make our stay welcoming, comfortable, and luxurious! Each day we were treated to a delicious gourmet breakfast in the dining room of their gorgeous period-decorated home. In the sunroom was a fridge full of cold drinks, with homemade sweets every afternoon and port in the parlor! Our room was beautifully decorated with the most wonderful sheets and fluffiest pillows we've ever slept on (where can we get some of these?!), and fresh coffee on a tray appeared outside our room at 7:30 am! Shannon and Joe truly left nothing to be desired at their wonderful B&B. Can't wait to go back!

I have just returned from a relaxing weekend stay. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a sign that welcomed the guests by their first name. Shannon warmly greeted us and gave us a tour of the inn. Our room was spacious and bright. Shannon and Joe were attentive to all of our needs and provided us with a steamer, much needed to freshen our attire for a wedding, and even offered to provide transportation to the wedding as Uber has not yet arrived in Luray. We were delighted with the little touches that Shannon and Joe provided: a morning coffee tray outside our room, a parlor refrigerator stocked with beverages for grab and go or enjoyment at the inn as well as an afternoon and evening plate of goodies. Finally, a daily sumptuous three course breakfast which surpassed our expectations. I hope to return again and have already recommended the inn to friends. Staying at this lovely inn is an experience not to be missed! CD, Riverside,CT
