Stayed for one night at the tango hotel after a problem with our reservation at a different hotel.. The owners were wonderful. Met us at the other hotel to escort us to their hotel. They recommended a wonderful restaurant that the locals eat at. Our room was very comfortable. The bed was amazing. Had the best sleep of our vacation so far!! Easy walk to the walked city. Free parking on site. The recently renovated building retained the historic charm. Will stay there again. My parents were traveling with us. Their room was also lovely.

We last visited Lucca six years ago, and we returned this year to find Tangohotel better than ever. The third floor patio has been completed, and it is modern, functional, and comfortable, with a view up Via della Formica of the cathedral tower. Tangohotel is a sturdy, very clean, and well-maintained alternative to pricey conventional hotels, and we would never consider staying anywhere else in Lucca. The owners are welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect for us: a ten-minute walk to the city walls in one direction, and a ten-minute walk to a self-service laundry and the largest supermarket in town (Esselunga) in the other direction. The prices are modest and the quality of the accommodations are high.

We arrived at the hotel very early and they were very accommodating. We had several correspondence with the hotel prior to arrival and always got a very prompt response. The hotel is simple clean and tidy, which is all we needed. It is located approximately 10 minutes walk from the main town of lucca. We didn’t inquire about breakfast and just waited that we got to Town to eat but we were informed of a coffee machine which we were free to use whenever we wanted. The hotel had a seal of an Airbnb which we had no issues with. The Aircon in the room worked very well and considering it was August kept us very cool. If I was visiting the area again, I would stay at this location. It’s a simple hotel for a very reasonable price

If you are visiting Lucca for the LSF summer festival this is a great find. Just a 10 minute walk to the big stadium and 15 to the one in the square. The rooms are quite small but really well equipped with air conditioning and the hosts could not have done more to make us feel at home. They even extended check out to help us with post Blur recovery!!

È al massimo un buon 2 stelle ad un prezzo eccessivo. Non ha servizio colazione, né concierge: ho visto il personsle solo al check-in e dopo lunga attesa. Al massimo camere in affitto, di buon confort. Scala ai piani suoeriori molto stretta per portare il bagaglio. La fitocellula in bagno spegne la luce e non vede chi è seduto sul wc; anche dalla doccia occorre alzare una mano sopra la cortina. Scomodissima! Comodo per i concerti estivi a Lucca con facilità di parcheggio.

Abbinato soggiornato due notti al Tango hotel, molto caratteristico, carino, molto pulito e accogliente. Simpatico il terrazzino con l'offerta del caffè, proprietari gentilissimi molto accoglienti disponibili per ogni cosa e consigli. Peccato sia mancante la prima colazione.
