We arrived at the Agena, when it was 30+ degrees, our rooms were all ready for our group of 35. The rooms all had air con which was hugely appreciated. Our host Fionnula was just fantastic from beginning to end. She was so attentive to everyone’s needs, with easy access for wheelchair users and lots of guidance and help. Food was beautiful at all times. Excellent staff and excellent service. Thank you Fionnula and staff. We will most definitely be back. Tina and Fran XX

I just returned from a Pilgrimage to Lourdes as part of a Donegal group. We arrived at 4p.m due to delayed flights but Finnuala made sure we had immediate food even though it was well after lunch. The food at the Agena is wonderful and plentiful and was served to us every day by the amazing Jacko. Every need was attended to and Finnuala (who is an amazing lady and works so hard) doubled up as our JWT representative when we arrived until our other amazing JWT representative - Eileen returned from her time off. A big shout out to our JWT representatives. While we had trouble with our flights originally our reps went out of their way to look after us from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend the Agena. It is close to the Grotto and on the River. Huge thanks from me personally and from all our group to al at Agena.

Just back from a trip to Lourdes staying at the Agena Hotel. From arrival to departure the experience was excellent. Rooms were clean and presentable and all the staff were pleasant and helpful. Due to having a small accident, we had to stay an extra two days but nothing was any trouble and Fionnuala went over and beyond to help us in our hour of need. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again in the future

Myself and husband had a fantastic stay. The staff were wonderful and offered lots of help. They were so accommodating and friendly. Food was excellent and hotel was in a great location, shopping area just around the corner. We needed wheelchair access, this was provided without fuss. They very kindly also helped when we needed wheelchair friendly transport to and from the airport. 5***** can highly recommend.

I stayed at the Hotel Agena during the Diocese of Cloyne’s annual pilgrimage to Lourdes. The hotel is very comfortable. The room was small by U.S. standards but very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were excellent. My father had an accessibility issue with the bed height in the room and the staff brought in an extra mattress to make it easier for him to get in and out of bed. The meals provided by the hotel were very tasty and plentiful. And the wait staff were extremely accommodating. If I return to Lourdes I will try to stay at this hotel again. It is very close to the grotto but not on a busy street.

Just back from short break in lourdes with my sister we stayed for 2 nights in hotel Agena. The rooms where spotless comfortable. We Enjoyed our stay there . The staff where excellent very friendly and food was excellent would highly recommend this hotel excellent service provided.

Just back from our diocesan pilgrimage and just wish to thank Fionnuala, Marc and their lovely colleagues who really do go above and beyond to help in any way they can. Rooms are spotless, cleaned daily and replenished with clean towels and toiletries. Food is excellent and plenty of too. Fionnuala and Marc the owners are very hands on, and are available to chat and check that dining is efficiently delivered by their experienced colleagues to the visiting pilgrims. I would like to stay again, perhaps in a room with a Gave River View, with a walk in rain shower. Merci Beaucoup.

Just back from first visit to lourdes.Had a lovely experience in this hotel, I would highly recommed staying here the staff were very friendly and anything we wanted was no problem excellent value for money great service good food and near the Grotto. Would definitely stay here again

I stayed in the Agena Hotel in Lourdes from May23rd last for 4 nights. I would highly recommend this hotel. The warm welcome from Fionuala was just like home from home. The staff are very friendly and cant do enough for you. The food was exemplary and there wasn't a crumb left after any meal. One of the residents was feeling a bit under the weather and she was brought up tea and toast to her room from very willing staff. Rooms are spotless and cleaned everyday with a number of clean towels daily. The showers are all big and modern. Its situated only a couple of minutes from the Grotto but in a quiet little street. I have stayed here a number of times before and it lives up to the same high standard always. I will definately be making a return to the Agena Hotel.
