We spent a few nights at the Inn towards the end of April 2025 and had a fantastic time. The hotel is tucked away on the outskirts of Boquete so it was nice and quiet. Marcelo the hotel manager was terrific and arranged all our tours - coffee farm, hanging bridges, zip lining and hot springs. The rooms were clean and spacious and breakfast was excellent - a great way to start the day. Marcelo even drove us back to David airport when we were leaving. All is all this was a great and unexpected experience and we would definitely recommend this lovely little hotel to fellow travelers visiting this charming, must see part of Panama.

Great place to stay. Gardens and views are really lovely. Room was very comfortable and the support staff was excellent. Breakfasts were very nice with a good variety of choices. Pool was beautiful and the location was great. They also had great suggestions for activities. Highly recommend.

This Inn is very cute and has absolutely beautiful lush gardens. Flowers abound! The Jacuzzi and pool are an added, plus which overlook the river. Breakfast is very nice. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff aims to please. Definitely recommend if you are going to Boquete.

Just above the traffic of town sits a quiet little inn with beautiful, flower covered grounds. Enjoy a drink by the fire pit or a soak in the hot tub. There's a small gym too. The staff is very attentive, from directions to drink making and great with restaurant tips and booking activities. And, yes they do have hair dryers, you just have to for one. When we were there I noticed at least 2 families with small children (our room has one double and one single bed) but I really saw it more as a romantic little gem.

We stayed at the Inn at Palo in early December. Room eight had a lovely view of the garden as well as the mountains.. The room was fairly basic no heat no air conditioning, but we didn’t need it. There was a great breeze coming through the large windows. Grounds are fantastic full of flowers and hummingbirds. We enjoyed having a drink at the bar late night as well as using the hot tub. Staff was helpful and responsive. The day we were leaving, we hiked the El Pianista Trail which starts 10 minutes up the road. We Came back to have a great breakfast which included a bloody Mary, salmon and omelettes cooked to order. (all included with the stay.) best breakfast we’ve had in Panama. Overall, a perfect experience

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. The infinity pool and jacuzzi overlooking the trees and river with a view of the volcan Baru are spectacular. We had the river suite and highly recommend it; it's right by the pool and river. The staff are so nice and friendly, and Marcelo makes an awesome mojito! Breakfast is a nice plus, with a beautiful view of the rainforest. We had a magical stay!

The Inn at Palo Alto is lovely to look at, however I would never stay there again nor recommend anyone else does. There is no one on site or any emergency contact number posted after 9 PM. At 9:30 we had a significant and scary electrical problem in our room (overhead light would not turn off and there was cracking noise at the wall switch). The owner’s parents live on the property so we went to them for help and they just shouted at us through a closed window to, “Go to sleep.” Would that we could! Eventually the owner, Justin, showed up and treated us extremely dismissively but did change our room. All of this soured us on our experience and I have no reason to believe it will be

What an amazing and tranquil place surrounded by the lush forest and colorful flowers. Staff was so welcoming and helpful for all your needs. Small enough to not be crowded but enough amenities to meet your needs. Fantastic breakfast every day on the patio with a view of Volcán Barú.

The Gardens are breathtaking- we loved the setting it felt like we were far from anyone and everything and the views are amazing! The rooms were lovely and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was brilliant a lovely buffet that !! We will definitely be back!
