hotel muy bien ubicado, personal muy amable, falta un poco de mantenimiento

The hotel is perfectly situated for amazing lake views. The staff is friendly, breakfast was very tasty, and the rooms are comfy and cozy. The reason it's not a 5-star review is (1) they failed to service our room one of the three days we were there and (2) there were some condition issues of the hotel grounds - the hot tub was questionable at best and the dock on the lake was dangerously weathered. Despite that, I would recommend.

The view and pool were beautiful. Very peaceful and quiet. A good restaurant next door Check in and out was easy. We only stayed 1 night but wished whe had stayed 2. A bit of a long walk to town but do-able.

The views were spectacular and the hotel was small and quiet. I would definitely stay here again if I was returning to the area.

Vanessa is trained in Renata Franca method of lymphatic drainage massage. It is a different approach from one who expects a typical therapeutic muscle massage but in the end, offers the same and perhaps more benefits. Vanessa is very skilled in this discipline. My husband and I both had an hour long massage and enjoyed it very much. It was timely as we arrived in Faro tired and sore from our trek in Gibraltar. The spa location is under renovation so is quite spare at present. The massage trea**ent room and WC were spotless and comfortable. At this time, there was no option for payment other than cash, which was a minor inconvenience and did not detract from our experience. Highly recommend!

Location is great with gorgeous views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Our room was really big, and everything was very clean. The heated floor in the bathroom was really nice, but it heated the bedroom uncomfortably if you left the door open. There were numerous worn areas on rugs, floors and walls. The spa pool was ok - large, but the water could have been hotter. The sauna was nice, and you could set the temp you wanted, but it took 2 hours for it to get to 70 C or higher. The outdoor pool was heated, but could use a good cleaning. All staff were very friendly and responded quickly to any requests. Breakfast was good, with plentiful amounts and variety of choices.

The view is amazing. One wonderful lady Ileene working reception, bar tender (minimal choices). Have to leave property for meals other than breakfast but can order and have delivered from other restaurants. Suggest having a car if staying there.
