Acre Hotel

Always love to stay at Acre. The staff always makes you feel so welcome. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Food and cocktails are equally fantastic. Salvador at the pool takes great care of you (even brings coconut popsicles in the afternoons). Couldn’t recommend Acre more.

I had a great time. The staff is so kind and they all remembered my name. The grounds are beautiful. The animals are so cute and fun to visit. I did horseback riding with Lencho at Rancho Animas they have on site, and that was the best! The pool is really nice and the restaurant is great. Ceviche, aguachile, and their fish dishes were the best. They do a huge brunch on weekends that was great. Cocktails are also great, and the mezcal tasting is a fun little experience. Coffee is strong how I like it. I had a massage with Angeles and she was incredible. I stayed in a treehouse and the views were amazing. It was clean and beautiful. I will say that there is no air conditioning and going in July, it was hot. I had trouble sleeping because of the heat at night. It cooled enough one of the nights but the others were warm, making it hard for me to sleep. Mosquitoes were not a big problem this time of year, so eventually I left windows open at night for extra air flow. I traveled alone so it took me a minute to feel comfortable in the breezy open tree house the first night, but really I always felt safe at Acre. I loved how Acre isn’t in the resort-heavy/congested area. It’s a little inland and right by Flora Farms (which is worth a visit as well). Acre isn’t on the beach but partners with a beach club (Veleros) so I arranged to spend a day there and that was perfect - I recommend doing that one day! Acre also recommended a great company for snorkeling and swimming in two bays in Cabo, which I loved.

Ate at the restaurant last night 8-2-24 and got food poisoning from the chicken dish. I have been going to the restaurant for the last 10 yrs and the food has been steadily declining. Service is good and the grounds are great. Not the big attractions as is has been in the past.

Wow!! My wife and I visited Acre treehouse resort for the first time in December. We were supposed to get married here in 2021 but had to change plans bc of COVID. We have been dying to go ever since…this place is unbelievable. One in a million! The FAMILY OWNED 25 acre grounds are beautiful, to say the least. A lot of time and effort went into making this place you can tell. I don’t want to tell you too much because we prefer to keep this place to ourselves. The staff was AMAZING: Sergio the bartender, Sandra, and Antonio. Antonio helped us on our horse back ride and then the next day got our new pet ready to bring back home… Yes, this resort is also a farm/sanctuary and we fell in love with the most amazing cat that we adopted. Acre is just amazing. We’ll be coming back for many years to come. See you soon Acre!!!

ACRE Resort in San Jose Del Cabo is our absolute favorite place. The moment you arrive, you step into a lush, tropical paradise with a perfect mix of luxury and relaxation. The treehouses are cozy and unique, offering beautiful views and a real escape from everyday life. The pool area is perfect for lounging, and the food is fantastic—fresh and full of flavor. A special shoutout to Salvador, the best server we've ever met. His friendly nature and attention to detail make every meal special. He goes out of his way to ensure everything is perfect, adding a special touch to our visits. All of the staff including Leo, Emilio, Diego, head chef Arturo, David, Cynthia, Elizabeth, are all top notch and make the experience for our family the best. Whether it’s for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or just some time alone, ACRE Resort is the place to be. It's not just a resort; it's an experience that leaves you refreshed and eager to return. Thanks to ACRE and especially to Salvador for making our stays so memorable.

We have visited acre several times and have stayed twice. Everything is beautiful but what really sticks out is the amazing, hard working employees. Martin has made each stay — Always so welcoming, kind and helpful. All with a smile on his face! This trip we got the pleasure to meet Alfonso and Mellisa and they were so wonderful too. Can’t wait to be back.

Had top 5 massages of my life. Room is lovely. Bar in the restaurant hits hard. These guys are magic. Enrique especially nailed it with mezcal recommendation and made for an amazing bar experience. If you ever find yourself at this lovely resort head to the bar and ask for Enrique. He will pour you something amazing.

Upon arriving to the Acre Resort I was received by two of the most delightful front desk agents I have ever encountered. Martin and Melissa were so nice it made it even harder to say goodbye to this amazing property. All thought it is still undergoing some constructions and it isn't the most quiet place to stay at (when it's time to go to sleep), it is definitely one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed on and the food is literally to die for. Not to mention the service. Every staff member shines for their kindness. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I was here for business and ended up having one of the most relaxed three days ever. Thank you Melissa, Martin and all of the amazing staff at Acre Resort. Looking forward to being back soon.

Unique location that gives you jungle vibes while enjoying comfort and elegance. A beautiful pool nestled among trees and plants for the daytime with bar service. A fancy restaurant, offering tasty dinners and cocktails with good music and atmosphere (by the way the Mezcal tasting is a gem!). What about the treehouses? You feel like Tarzan! While up there I even asked my girlfriend to marry me and she said yes, so I can testify that this place got what it takes! Last but not least a great and special thank you to a member of the Acre staff, our Melissa! She was always super kind and available for us, and she even helped me to arrange the whole thing for the wedding proposal, she was our angel! We can only say good words also for the other members of Acre staff, everyone was really professional and kind. Hasta luego!
