Executive Santa Monica Suites

When we arrived on the Friday evening we couldn't get in through the gates to our suite. No one would come and help us... The code box outside was not working. Made several phone calls to office no help... Lucky a resident came out to allow us access. Cold water in the shower on arrival. Faulty hairdryer left which burnt hair. Pre check in sent over to complete whilst we were still travelling on the plane. Would not recommend this place.

I was told (in writing) there would be a washer and dryer in the unit. When I arrived at the apartment there was neither so I cancelled the reservation. Huge battle to get my money back, I had to elevate it to my visa legal department before getting a refund.

I would not recommend this property. The apartment would fill with the smell of ********* smoke several times a day (from a nearby tenant). Also the listing on ******* indicates 2 bathrooms but there is only 1 bathroom. The morning of our checkout I got a call and a text at 6:45am asking what time we would be leaving so they could arrange for the cleaning crew. We definitely did not appreciate the timing of this call while traveling. I told them we would leave at 11, which was our check out time. If it wasn't for these things we appreciated the nice girl who helped checked us in, the pool and amenities of the community, and the designated parking spot.

The unit is old. Parking is a big problem
