My family and I stayed at Canemount because my daughter was graduating from Alcorn University. This B&B was a gem in prime location with amazing owners. Diane was very accommodating, helpful and a wealth of nearby location information. The home cooked breakfast hit the spot daily. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Lorman, MS.

This is a lovely place. We enjoyed the beautiful, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable of the local history. They shared and recommended many unique local spots to visit. Would highly recommend a stay here.

I didn't even know this was open after touring the area for several years, and am I ever glad I stayed here last night. This is THE place for perfect seclusion AND all modern amenities. History is rich and the stories of the people who lived and worked here are inspiring. The original Carriage House now contains 6 rooms, all of which are of superior quality. I booked at the very last minute and could not be more impressed or delighted. This includes a wonderful breakfast in the main home, and Jim and Dianne are the nicest people you are likely to meet. If you want to escape, this is the place. The pool and the pool house are amazing. It's hard to believe such top accommodations are available so far out in the country. It's not like staying in a grand mansion, but rather a very cozy retreat where everything is the best available.

A beautiful property with very comfortable rooms and delightful owner/hosts who go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Breakfast was delicious. We were bicycling Natchez Trace and this stop was a highlight of our tour for me. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Our first time staying in a bed and breakfast and it was amazing. This Beautiful historic Inn is a hidden gem. The accommodations were perfect and the hosts were very knowledgeable about the history of the property and this area.

The home and grounds were spectacular. We had a great time over our New Year's trip.

My wife and I stayed at the Canemount Plantation Inn twice on a recent bike trip. It was better than I had expected. The first thing one sees upon arrival is the early 1850s plantation house, a remarkably well-preserved mansion. Guest accommodations are in adjacent restored buildings that have been updated with air conditioning. Our room in the carriage house was spacious and comfortable. The furniture was almost too nice for guests. We slept very well. The next morning, after we enjoyed a terrific breakfast, Diane and Jim gave us a tour of the mansion and its history. They were gracious hosts who made us feel truly welcomed.

The property itself is full of history and elegance. Each cabin had its own rest spot, furnished patios, intimate porches, and the Ms. Diane is Grace infused. Planning a trip back very soon
