멜빌 호텔(The Melville Hotel by Rokxy- Kings Cross)

Das Hotel ist für einen London Trip ideal gelegen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Zimmer war ok. Es wird jedoch nicht täglich gesäubert. Alles in Allem war es gemütlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

唯一的優勢就是位置

My 10 year old daughter and I stayed at the Melville as a birthday surprise for her along with a theatre trip, The room was decorated stylishly the bed was very comfortable, lovely powerful shower. To top it all off there was a birthday card and some treats left for my daughter. Such a lovely touch. Thank you to everyone at The Melville for such a lovely experience! We will be back again!!

This is the worst hotel I have ever had the displeasure to stay at. Only managed 1 night out of the three we booked. Room was not only tiny, it was also filthy. Stains all over the bed, some of which appeared to be blood, to list a just couple of the problems. When we asked the manager to change our room, he insisted that he inspect the one we were currently in, then proceeded to argue with every fault we pointed out, raising his voice and becoming aggressive. Apparently it was just our opinion that the room was filthy, irrespective of visible stains over the bed and mattress and complete disrepair of the room. Don’t be fooled by the photos advertising the place, they are misleading. No security as all rooms have the same key code and the safes don’t work.

This was a decent, reasonably priced hotel. Rooms are a bit small but if you only want to stay for a couple of days, they are adequate. We asked to be moved to a bigger room and the manager, Yannis, did so without question. The staff were extremely friendly and more than willing to help wherever they could. First off I called before booking ask if it had electric parking. They said yes not far. I booked it. Electric charger doesn’t work and the guy said it’s not there problem. I understand that put pull that off your web page and not tell people it’s available when it’s not. Another thing the bath room smelled so bad from the moment you stepped in the “family” room. It was awful. Front desk gave me a air freshener spray. Hands down DO NOT BOOK. There are other great hotels around.

Worst UK hotel I have ever stayed in. We were given an 'upgrade' on arrival, lord knows what the other room was like.  1. The bed linen had not been changed and we found **********s and a cigarette lighter under the duvet. 2. The pillows were dirty. 3.  It was raining and a leak started down the side of the wall near the bed stead. 4. There was a constant drip drip all night so sleep was minimal. 5. The electrics shorted so there was no light in the shower cubicle.   5. There was mold on the shower curtain. 6. The kettle did not work in the morning as the sockets had shorted. 7. When we told reception about the leak they explained that was because it was raining ... Apart from that it was ok ...

The hotel is located close to Kings Cross Station. On arrival the reception was staffed and I was shown to my room. The room was spacious and clean with all the facilities listed on the website. Ideal location close to the station which was just what I wanted. Enjoyable and comfortable stay.
