롬복, Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfall 근처 호텔

The hotel is interesting. It's new and modern and very minimalistic in both good and bad ways. The room is like a box. It's not bad. You access the door and control window dimming and light with a phone app (or a screen on the wall). The bed is comfortable. The room has a nice shower, although you can easily pinch your fingers when sliding the shower door (very painful). The two issues I had were the flies that I couldn't get out of the room (they easily get inside through the door and don't leave) and breakfast/dinner that is served in a cardboard box. It's not particularly pleasant or tasty. The staff is very friendly and helpful (just like all other Indonesian people I met). It was hard to get a car to leave the village, but the staff person called all of his friends and found me a driver. The hotel is situated on the edge of the village. I didn't have a motorbike so it took me 15 minutes to get to a nearest shop and 30 minutes by foot to get to the start of the Pergasingan hiking trail.

For a 3 star rated hotel it sure is a fancy one. This was more costly compared to what I usually book as a solo traveler but I was more than happy with my splurge. Service from the staff was excellent in all aspects. My delux double bungalow was spacious throughout. Nice green scenery. Well maintained gardens all around. Infinity pools. Very comfortable stay. Nothing to complain about. Perfect place to unwind at the hotel but you will have to put in a little work to visit the 2 waterfalls nearby.

Nice secluded location away from the busy road. If arriving by car, one needs to park at adjacent Lembah Rinjani. Wifi did not work. Even if it did, could only access it by going to Lembah Rinjani as well. Likewise, breakfast was also served at the cafe at Lembah Rinjani. Pretty odd arrangement overall. Room was comfy albeit small. Hot shower worked reasonably well. Breakfast was pretty basic. Overall for above Rp300.000 room, was expecting a bit more. Beautiful gardens and view of Mt Rinjani from the resort itself.
