We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of September. The hotel is right beside the harbour & location is perfect. The room was smallish but comfortable bed & a decent walk in shower - not one of the dreaded ' shower-over-bath' type. We had a classic car & were able to park it securely in their underground garage for €15 per night. Amadou was very friendly & helpful & a credit to the hotel. We thought the buffet breakfast was a bit pricey, so went to the local boulangerie beside the harbour & had a lovely coffee & pain au raisin for a fraction of the price. We would certainly stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Ile de Re. It's right on the harbour next to all of the cafes and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good. The room was spacey too.

So let’s get the negatives out of the way. There is no comfortable seating anywhere indoors in this hotel. It is based on an open quadrangle where there are a couple of sofas, but nobody bothers to take the cushions in when it rains! There is no bar despite their claiming to have one. What there is is a table in front of a huge TV at the end of the breakfast room with upright hard chairs. You can get a drink served by the obliging night porter but this hardly constitutes a bar. The only indoor public area there is, is the breakfast room. This is ridiculous, whoever heard of a hotel with no comfortable seating? There isn’t any in the bedrooms because these are too small to accommodate anything. There isn’t comfortable seating in the bedrooms which are small and rustic. But they are excellently serviced. Another beef is the lack of wifi in upper bedrooms. A regular guest told me that they know about this but do nothing to solve it. On a positive note the breakfasts are first class and the staff we encountered very friendly. Not the best hotel we’ve stayed in but far from the worst. Nobody asked us if we enjoyed the stay, so we couldn’t tell them, but we can tell you.can tell you!!

I visited the Ile de ré this week and got stranded there, we couldn't find a taxi back to La Rochelle. We visited Hotel La Jetee and an extremely helpful guy named Amadou came to our rescue. He was very friendly, professional and really helped us out. He ordered a taxi and put us at ease whilst he served us some drinks. He is a credit to the hotel and they are lucky to have him! Thanks again Amadou, you are a true gent! Great hotel, great location, superb staff.

What a lovely Hotel and a perfect position in Saint Martin de Re It was my first visit to the Il de Re and this was the perfect place to stay All the staff were very pleasant, helpful and welcoming We had a Junior Suite and was not disappointed. It was very comfortable, plenty of space and lovely décor. We had a view to the front of the hotel. It was Right on the Quai and close to all the shops and restaurants , Perfect. We managed to get parking outside which was perfect Breakfast was a Continental Buffet and we were not disappointed, so much choice of lots of lovely things. I will certainly go back and have already recommended it to family and friends

Lovely place! If you want to be directly at the harbor of St. Martin this is the place to stay. Nice rooms, great breakfast, very well run, every single staff member has a great service attitude (especially Amalina, we loved your service!) Thank you!!! Be aware, that this is not the quitest area of the town, but that is not a mistake of the Hotel!
