르 그랑 라즈 - 호텔 에 레스토랑

Excellent location with access to a lively sandy beach via a pedestrian underpass. Private secure parking behind the hotel was greatly appreciated. Our comfortable, spacious room had a secluded outside dining area that opened onto the swimming pool area. A very good breakfast was on offer with a wide selection of hot and cold food. The hotel's restaurant was good - portions are not large, but the quality of the dishes was excellent. Staff were friendly and accommodating - this hotel is highly recommended for a late summer break.

We visited in July 2024 and enjoyed our few days at Le Grande Large. Welcoming staff. Great customer service, friendly, responsive. Clean rooms with great views. Great location near the beach restaurants and car parking. Thoroughly recommend.

A very clean hotel centrally located and directly opposite the beach, Has a great pool and jacuzzi although no bar for afternoon and evening drinks - although alcoholic drinks can be obtained after 6pm from their own restaurant- it’s a little strange but it works out ok. We took a superior room, which was a great size, and had a super bathroom. - but beware if you are a light sleeper or go to bed early, that these rooms are directly above the restaurant kitchen so you do hear some noise - but it tends to cease at around midnight so it’s not too bad. A spotlessly clean hotel and a big brownie point to the staff who are so friendly and helpful 👍👍 Would we stay again - indeed we would 😀

A little gem. Friendly staff on all accounts. Had a ground floor room with access to the pool area which was very good. Reception staff were excellent and the adjoining restaurant was a revelation as the standard of food was excellent. Service was a little slow but we weren't in a hurry. You'll need to book if you want to get the the hotel car park but the beach parking opposite is free and easy to access. Beach is just over the road and yes the view of La Rochelle docks is not the best but the beach is beautiful and has two beach bars.

Recently renovated, nice rooms with spacious pool facing terraces just 100 meters from the ocean. Free parking. Gorgeous restaurant next door. What else do you need? Oh yes, perfect breakfast!! And I mean it. It’s not your standard continental! And amazingly amazing service.

Nous avons choisi ce restaurant en nous fiant aux nombreux avis positifs, et nous n’avons pas été déçus ! Les plats étaient délicieux, préparés avec des produits frais et de qualité. On sentait un vrai travail sur les saveurs, avec une belle maîtrise en cuisine. Le restaurant est également très bien situé, avec une superbe vue mer ce qui rend le repas encore plus agréable et parfaitement dans l’ambiance typique de l’île de Ré. S’il fallait vraiment mentionner un petit point à améliorer, ce serait peut-être d’ajouter un petit biscuit ou une douceur avec le café : une attention qui apporte toujours une note finale très positive à l’expérience. Petit plus pour le jeune serveur en formation, très prometteur. En résumé, une très belle adresse que nous recommandons chaleureusement pour la qualité de la cuisine, le cadre et l’accueil. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir !
