Śniadania były bardzo dobre!!!

This hotel is fantastic value. My room was spotless, the bathroom was great. Light and airy with a built-in fridge comfy bed :-). Staff friendly and talkative. 15-20 minute walk to city centre or 10-15 min walk to manufactura. The area that the hotel is located is run down with uneven pavements but I never feel unsafe even at 11pm at night. The hotel is located in an area of iconic style of polish architecture. I will definitely be staying here again.

I have stayed in this hotel several times, on business. I think it is fairly OK for a short stay and relatively unexpensive. The area looks horrible - the houses on the same street should have been renovated years ago. There is one major nuisance at the hotel itself, namely, in the rooms from the front the tramway can be very clearly heard and felt (vibrations) - and it passes by very frequently. For those with sleep disturbances it may be a major problem, for those without (as me) - once I get asleep, no tramway is able to wake me up. At my last stay I noticed that the hotel now makes a difference in price between the rooms from the front and the other rooms. I took one at the back and had no problem with the tram. The rooms are not luxurious, but clean and comfortable. The bed is OK. There is a lift, of course. The hotel has a restaurant with room service. The breakfasts indeed could be better in a three-star hotel, however I would not state "unpalatable" as some other reviewers. I had no problems with hotel staff - they have always been friendly towards me. The hotel offers a discount for owners of Citibank Poland Visa cards.

Sometimes, you really do get what you pay for. I stayed here with a large group as part of a schools visit. I cannot complain with the cost of the hotel, it worked out at £30 a night, which is nothing. The room was always clean, bottled water was replenished, and the bed was fairly comfortable. There is free wireless internet, and the centre is a 20 minute walk, which was fine. However, it really needs a makeover, the floral material of the quilt cover and curtains looks like it has been there since the 70s. The breakfast was terrible. I consider myself a connoisseur of hotel breakfasts, and this was not inviting whatsoever. The hot options were not hot, nor were there unless you ventured down within 5 minutes of breakfast being served. The coffee was awful, instant stuff - something I discovered throughout my stay in Poland, the orange juice was lukewarm. The only relatively palatible food was the bread and cheese. If you want somewhere cheap that gives more comfort than a hostel, that isn't too far from the centre (if you don't mind walking), then the Reymont is the place for you!

The reception entrance reflected the purpose of the building namely a Hotel. This former Military Officers quarters, has a elevator to all floors which have well proportioned high ceiling rooms. My single room however, was furnished with basic student hostel type furniture. (Be advised that in a former career I was a buyer of hostel furniture and very familiar with the style). The metal based bed however was comfortable, and the dated TV had a wide selection of chanels. The room was warm and very clean but no coffee making facilities. The shower cubicle was dated but excellent shower. The Hotel caters for tourist parties, and local workers, therefore disapointed that some of the breakfast choices had gone by the time I came down around 8:30 am. The catering staff were not prepared to top up missing food choices. If the coffee machine ran out of water, guests were expected to top it up with a bottle of water close by. There is a Coffee dispensing machine in the foyer. The reception staff were very helpful

Hotel Reymont położony jest kilkanaście minut na piechotę od ul. Piotrkowskiej, centrum handlowego Manufaktura, czy też Pałacu Izraela Poznańskiego. Do hotelu można bez problemu dostać się tramwajem z dworca kolejowego i autobusowego Łódź Fabryczna. Położenie hotelu jest więc całkiem dobre. Pokój który zajmowałem był pokojem jednoosobowym. Pomimo tego że pokój był niewielki, to był naprawdę wygodnie urządzony, a przede wszystkim był bardzo czysty i ciepły w czasie zimnej, listopadowej nocy. Bardzo wygodna i czysta była też łazienka. Pokój zajmowany przeze mnie znajdował się od strony ulicy po której jeździły tramwaje. Nie jestem przyzwyczajony do odgłosu tramwajów, więc nad ranem taki tramwaj mnie obudził, chociaż rano stwierdziłem, że ich odgłos nie jest wcale dokuczliwy :-) Bardzo smaczne, świeże i godne polecenia było śniadanie. Do wyboru były zarówno wędliny, sery, jajka, "coś na słodko", pomidory, ogórki, pieczarki konserwowane, kawa z ekspresu, różnego rodzaju pieczywa, herbaty do wyboru... Bardzo sympatyczna i pomocna była też obsługa w hotelu, zarówno w recepcji, podczas śniadania jak i obsługa pokoi. Tak więc z własnego doświadczenia mogę tylko polecić.
