Service was below average, rushed, and quite a stressful experience.

Globalement ce fut un bon séjour. Bon emplacement de l’hôtel la plage et le centre ville ne sont pas loin on peut pratiquement tout faire à pied pour les plus sportive comme moi. Nourriture pas mal mais pas beaucoup de choix. Les services proposés tels que le spa, piscine font du bien pour faire un break d’une journée remplie de visite. Chambre très bien sauf petit bémol le sol très poussiéreux je ne pouvais pas être à l’aise et pieds nus dans ma chambre. Sinon merci pour l’accueil des hôtesses , femme de ménage très gentilles !

We came for Easter and were not lucky. 16-19 degrees and piercing wind brr. The hotel is a classic city hotel. It is old, but it is well-kept and clean, cleaned every day. Friendly staff at the reception. And now from the other side of the coin. If you go from the airport with a travel agency, they will drop you off with your luggage 3 blocks away because the bus does not reach the hotel due to the narrow streets. You pay €20 per week for the safe, and you also have to pay for the fridge, otherwise it doesn't work even though it's in the room. The biggest minus is the lack of even a kettle to boil water for tea. Towels are changed every 4 days due to lack of water in the area. If you have half board, you pay for drinks in the evening, but the prices are moderate, e.g. beer is €2.5. Unfortunately, the food is simple and has absolutely no variety, even standard pancakes. The meat was hard and under-seasoned. Don't count on the soup for 6 days, it was the same vegetable soup with an unknown taste. There is a parking lot under the hotel. Entering it with a medium-sized car is a world championship. €15 per day. In the city, renting a car for 3 days with full insurance is €340

Lovely hotel with nice friend staff couldn’t have been more helpful Bedroom and bathroom cleaned daily the whole hotel was spotless We were bed and breakfast only no complaints about the food good quality and plenty of it Would definitely recommend this hotel

I don't understand how this is a 4 star hotel. The stars must have been awarded at least 20 years ago. The hotel is very worn and unexotic, there is little here that resembles a Spanish idyll. The room we got bore the mark of having been done in the cheapest possible way. The floorboards (made of wood!) did not fit and were damaged by moisture so they were cracking with large gaps. the door to the bathroom cannot be locked and there is a large window between the bathroom and the bedroom, so there is not much room for privacy here. There is noise between the rooms and between the room and the corridor. The room was not cleaned unless we put a note on the door, and we experienced a very large variation in the quality of this job. Air conditioning is old and occasionally did not work. The main pool is good and in june there was no problem getting a sunbed. It was quiet around the pool as this is NOT a typical hotel suitable for children. The hotel has an indoor heated pool that really doesn't get the attention it deserves! A great potential but the pool appears neglected and dirty. The surrounding plastic walls are full of dirt and algae, lack plates and appear very old. the pool itself has greenery and old dirt visible. Ordinary white garden chairs are placed along the edge of the pool. Nor here is the room utilized, decorated and made inviting. There is a spa department here, but it is very little advertised in the hotel. it's tucked away downstairs and not visible unless you're looking for it. no brochures or info. about this in the hotel rooms or visible at reception. The dining room is neat and clean, but the food is very boring and the selection terribly standard. Little taste. The staff are mostly pleasant and welcoming. When I expressed a need for a different pillow due to my neck problems, this was fixed immediately with a very comfortable and special pillow for this. big plus. This was probably a good hotel once, but they don't keep up with the times! We are left with a feeling that the hotel needs a "woman's touch". More decor such as flowers and murals, repairing things that are broken or worn out and a general update would have done the trick. Why not play relaxing Spanish guitar tones over the music system during meals for example? perhaps there would have been less noise and chaos in the dining room?

My 17 year old daughter and I have just returned from our 1st holiday in Lloret de Mar- stayed at Hotel GHT Aquarium & Spa in Fenals. Here's my review. PRO'S- Spotlessly clean Lovely, friendly staff Room spacious enough for us ( twin/double & sofa bed and pool view.) Food was pretty good! We enjoyed it, always something for everyone. Pleasant pool area & bar, plenty sunbeds. Didn't use the indoor pool. Beach 8 mins walk away. Fridge & safe hidden in a cupboard ( only found it on last day!) Strong WiFi Daily cleaning ( if desired) CON'S Air conditioning doesn't work ( we left our balcony door open to stay cool overnight) A couple of power cuts, annoying but not a huge issue. 2 sittings for meals ( allocated slot on arrival) but can be flexible if time doesn't suit. Entertainment only at weekends ( singers etc) To sum up...Great mid-budget hotel,fab resort especially Fenals, hundreds of bars and restaurants. Great beaches and scenery. Recommend- visit Jardins de Santa Clotilde. Very peaceful €6.00 Cala Sa Boadella- gem of a beach, beach bar pricey but fab location. Barcelona (bus) busy, hot, amazing..beware though as got charged €24.00 for a coke and a beer!! Will definitely return to LDM area 😊

Hotel - good location 10 (20 with kids) minutes walk to the centre 35 minutes taxi from airport. Taxi are very expensive here local cabs add €5 standard charge and service charge so a few minutes ride to the centre is €10. Dearest I’ve ever paid so we walked a lot of the trip. The taxi to and from the airport was pre booked and cost €63 euros each way. The bus to this hotel I don’t believe drops right at the hotel so one to look at if you don’t want to spend a fortune on cabs. Friendly staff in general. Hotel does need maintenance around the indoor pool area and outdoor area, but generally nice. Sun beds were always available. There was a little inconsistency around the pool rules that annoyed us. One member of staff allowed inflatables in pool and engaged with the children and another didn’t allow any which caused upset. There is one life guard member of staff that observes the outdoor pool which we didn’t understand as all the kids were in the indoor pool with limited supervision unless the parent sat in a very hot room watching them. Not the best use of resource. If the life guard was in there then the adults would be able to enjoy their holiday too. (Naturally we observed our child at all times but some children were not supervised). Maybe better to close the indoor pool and heat the outdoor one! Kettles and glasses /cups not included in the room €20 deposit cash for kettle which you get back. The maids did take out the plastic glasses I had for my cups of tea which was annoying. Cups should be in the room. Housekeeping was great very clean did a good job. (Main plants in reception area on each floor need attention) however the rest of the hotel was spotless one the cleanest I’ve stayed in. There is a mini fridge and a safe. The safe costs per day. Towels €20 euro deposit which you get back when you return the towels. There is a Spanish tax that is also payable when travelling from Britain we paid €18 approx for two adults and a child. So there quite a bit to pay out before we even got to the room . All fine just some not expected. Entertainment was poor unfortunately and for me lost the star. We booked this hotel for the mini club and entertainment. There was one or two singers on the whole time we were there and nothing else. Some staff got up with the little babies at night to dance but our kid is 8 and there wasn’t really anything for her. The lady in the mini club seems like she works hard but again the mini club was 11-12 and 4-5 and there didn’t appear to be any or many kids involved in it. There is a shed behind the pool where they can draw pictures. My child wasn’t interested in that in the hot weather. We ended going out most nights and therefore didn’ eat in the hotel much. Beds were quite hard and pillows quite thick for me but overall ok for a week. My child had a converted chair for her bed. This had mental frames around it. She must have banged her legs a dozen times on this along with us as the room was

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Spotlessly clean. Staff really great. Also superb value for money. We went half board and there was such a great choice of food, different dishes every evening. Also the drink prices were very good. Can’t wait to book again for next year. Well done GHT.

Good hotel in a good location. 15 minute walk to Lloret de Mar Center but it was nice to be slightly outside the noise of the centre. Plus another quieter beach nearby. Only used the indoor pool but that was nice. Excellent breakfast selection (hot food, fresh tropical fruit, pastries, pancakes, breads). Cleaning staff were very friendly and room was spotless. Cleaned every day. Main negative was the air con. Advertised as having air con but we couldn’t get it to work. Spoke to reception and were told it doesn’t work and just does hot air. After a restless first night sleep, I spoke to the hotel reception again, said only thing they could do was move us to a lower floor in a slightly bigger room. Was cooler and appreciated the change but air con still didn’t work. Also, the TV only had one British channel. However, I do understand we are in Spain. Also, was advised you had to pay a deposit for the iron (which was totally fine). However, wasn’t told until after I paid via card that it’s refunded in cash. It was the last day of my holiday so wouldn't have rented it if I had known that. Should have been advised this was the case before payment. Overall would recommend
