Zambezi Dusk River Facing-All Inclusive-Luxury Accommodation

Everything just blew me away. The friendliest staff, the amazing accommodation, heavely food and stunning views on of the river. Sitting back and watching the sunset while enjoying a gin and tonic was the highlight for me. So peaceful. I would go back tomorrow!

From the moment we were warmly welcomed to this stunning luxury safari lodge by the happy and well trained staff we knew this adventure was going to be something very special. Nestled on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River and adjacent to a sand island that is home to a large herd of hippos the location is unique. The chalets are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The dining experience was next level. The quality, variety and portion sizes of all meals was superb. Thank you chef! We were spoiled for choice with a wide array of activities including multiple boat safaris, a day trip to Victoria Falls, fishing expeditions and so much more. Our sincere thanks to Jonathon and his wonderful staff for making our stay so enjoyable; and of course to Shelley and John for all your planning, coordination and expertise in ensuring that all of our activities and experiences were so amazing. ZD was without a doubt our best family holiday. From the moment the lovely shuttle driver fetched us we were looked after like royalty. Nothing was too much effort, we have never experienced such exceptional hospitality from every single staff member we met. The food was amazing, even catering for the people with food allergies with delicious options. The location on the river just couldn’t get better. Our accommodation was even better than we had expected with beautiful air conditioned rooms and everything you could possibly need. The most exciting experience was the fun we had Tiger Fishing on the river everyday. This really is a very special spot, it felt like ‘Heaven on Earth’ and we’ll definitely be back.

From the moment | arrived, the warm and loving welcome from Pynety & Lawrence melted away the stress of travel within a second. The view of the Zambezi River is pure magic - vast, golden, endlessly captivating. You could gaze at it forever and still not have your fill. And just when you believe it couldn't possibly get better, you step into your room... and wonder gives way to awe. Every detail of the interior is crafted with such harmony and grace, it feels like stepping into a painted dream. Nowhere have I slept so deeply, so peacefully, as in that incredibly comfortable bed on these soft pillows (please, I need the manufacturer’s name of mattress :). A heartfelt thank you for the exquisite vegan cuisine - each dish a work of art, worthy of the finest tables. Even on the sunset cruise delicious vegan snacks were served. Thank you, Patrick, for the unforgettable boat ride - for the laughter, the gin and tonics, and the breathtaking encounters with the wild. And to Jonathan, the wonderfully kind and charming lodge manager - thank you for making this place feel like home (I wish I wouldn't have to leave). Zambezi Dusk is more than a destination. It is a dream realized, a symphony of serenity by the river's edge. | leave a piece of my heart here - and wish I could have stayed just a little longer.

Spent a lovely weekend at Zambezi Dusk. The staff were warm and attentive, always checking in to make sure things went smoothly. The atmosphere was peaceful, with plenty of space to relax and take in the surroundings. The lodge itself is beautiful, and the villa was spacious and very well appointed.

We had an amazing time at Zambezi Dusk. The Lodge is right on the Zambezi and is breathtakingly beauty, the tents overlook the river where the sunrise and sunset painted the sky in the most incredible colours. Waking up and going to bed to the sounds of the water and wildlife is truly something special. The food was outstanding and served in the most breathtaking spots. Whether it was a sunrise breakfast or a fireside Boma dinner under the stars, each experience felt special. The sunset cruise and fishing expeditions is something I can highly recommend. The staff were warm, friendly, and so professional, treating us with genuine kindness that made us feel at home. We’ll treasure the memories and cannot wait to return one day.
