We stayed at Bella one night in October 2021 and knew when we left that we would return. Ironically, the address is "New Haven Rd" and we feel that this B&B is a haven of rest and relaxation. Staying for two nights was even better as it allowed us to spend time outside on the spectacular grounds where flowers were in full bloom, deer roamed freely in the early morning, and hidden "gems" tucked away in various places creating surprises in the landscape! Lisal and Matthew once again served breakfasts that were incredibly tasty & abundant. The open kitchen design allows guests to engage with the innkeepers during food preparation where conversations are warm, positive, and helpful to plan a day in the area. The town of Floyd is about 5 minutes away where "the locals" are friendly. Lisal and Matthew are helpful, yet not intrusive in your day. Spend a day, and you will want to return again and again!! We plan to return again!

My husband and I have stayed at Bella La Vita many times over the past 10 + years. We look forward to our stay for months ahead of our arrival, and we experience the same sense of peace, calm, and happiness each time. It takes really wonderful people to consistently provide such a welcoming atmosphere, and Matt and Lisal are indeed wonderful. Don’t deny yourself this special place, and Lisal’s amazing breakfasts!

I have stayed at Bella many times and I am always amazed at the cleanliness of the inn, the delicious hot breakfast and the exceptional Innkeepers! They are always friendly and helpful and put the needs of their guests first! I will definitely be returning to Bella La Vita Inn!

My stay at Bella was heaven on earth! Matt & Lisal create an experience that feels like home away from home. The hospitality is unlike anything I have ever received! Breakfast is homemade with farm fresh, local ingredients & always from scratch each morning. They go above & beyond to make your stay comfortable & relaxing. From providing the delicious breakfast, engaging in heartfelt conversations, giving tips & tricks to navigate around town. They inform you of the events going on, the best places to hike, where to go when you're in search of what to do. The yard is the perfect place to have a cup of tea, sit outside & enjoy the perfect weather that Southwest Virginia brings. One of my favorite parts about this bed & breakfast is the labyrinth that Lisal & Matt hand built with rocks found on their property. I will absolutely be going back for many more of my vacations, would HIGHLY recommend!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Bella La Vita Inn. Located near the lovely little town of Floyd, Virginia, the Inn is an exceptional place to stay. Our room/bath was very clean, the bed - comfortable and the setting/grounds of the Inn are delightful. Lisel, one of the owners, was so hospitable and friendly. She told us about the surrounding area and made our stay very comfortable. Breakfast, as many others have reviewed, was delicious and healthy. Recommend this Inn highly.

Lisal and Matt are the perfect hosts. The perfect country setting for a lovely, clean and homey Italian style villa. The breakasts are the best ive ever had and the coffee is ready in the morning when you you get up.

On December 31, 2011 was the first time we walked into the doors of the charming Bella La Vita Inn. Since then, we have become regulars averaging 3 stays per year. The Innkeepers Lisal and Matt are the BEST hosts. You feel at ease staying there. They have become our friends! The Inn is immaculate. The gourmet breakfast is to die for. I wanted to share our experience with other travelers. We highly recommend the Bella La Vita Inn. Kindly, Elke and Paul
