홀스테드 플레이스(Horsted Place Hotel)

우리는 최근 Horstead Place에서 두 번째 숙박을 즐겼습니다. 장식은 훌륭하고 스위트룸은 세련되게 꾸며져 있습니다. 모든 직원은 전문적이고 친절합니다. 식당은 절묘합니다. 불행히도 내 메인 코스는 포괄적인 메뉴 정의를 수행하지 못했습니다. 꿩고기 메인 코스는 프리미엄 가격으로 인기를 끌었지만, 도움의 크기는 매우 실망스러웠습니다. 이것이 훌륭한 식사라는 점에 감사하지만 이것은 용납될 수 없습니다. 이 숙소는 이스트 서식스 국립 골프 코스(East Sussex National Golf Course)의 넓은 부지와 경계선에 위치해 있습니다. 놀라운 전망과 야생 사슴을 포함한 수많은 야생 동물.

아내의 깜짝 40일을 위해 비밀 탈출을 통해 Horsted Place를 예약했는데 실망하지 않았습니다. 우리는 거대한 슈페리어 스위트(워릭)로 업그레이드되었습니다! 방은 다양한 편의 시설을 갖추고 편안했습니다. 침대는 편안했고 우리는 잘 잤습니다. 우리는 레스토랑에서 저녁과 아침을 모두 먹었는데 정말 훌륭했습니다. 맛있는 음식, 좋은 부분, 잘 표현되었습니다. 직원들은 친절하고 도움이 되었습니다. 나는 이 호텔을 적극적으로 추천하고 앞으로 하룻밤 묵을 때 꼭 고려해 볼 것입니다. 감사합니다.

이 호텔의 대부분은 훌륭했습니다. 특히 음식과 서비스가 훌륭했습니다. 한 가지 불만은 와인 가격입니다. 가장 저렴한 흰색은 £30, 가장 저렴한 빨간색은 £38였습니다. 아주 평범한 레드에 38파운드를 지불하는 것은 매우 실망스러웠습니다.

Attended my mothers 90th birthday here on the 2nd June 2024 and had booked as a family for thirty adults and seven small children,several of the guests could not make it on actual day but still paid the £40.00 a head for all guests which we had booked for which was not a problem.When hot buffett was bought out was very disappointing very little food and ran out very quickly before some guest had anything to eat asked if there was anymore was told by a very young member of staff would have to pay extra .There was in our families option not enough for even fifteen guests and desserts were no better.No management staff around to complain to and in our option lovely venue and grounds does not make up for basic food and service ,will not recommend this to any of our friends and family in future.

We attended my mothers 90th birthday celebration lunch on 2nd June. What a total disappointment, having traavelled for 5 hours. The buffet consisted of asparagus tips, small boa buns, deep fried cod pieces and fried vegetables. Dessert was finger sized vanilla cheesecake and the smallest little pots consisting of 2 raspberries 2 blueberries and a strawberry topped with a swirl of cream , which was impossible to eat as you were given a dessert spoon and the pot would only enable a teaspoon into it| This so called hot buffet priced at £40 per head!! The food ran out very quickly before everyone had a chance to help themselves as like many hotels a little is put out and then topped up but when we asked if there was some more food to come out we were told that if we wanted anymore we would have to pay for it|| The young waitress was sent out to tell us this as I felt that maybe the manager was too embarressed to show his or her face. Poor show Horsted Place as this was recommended, and I would advise anyone booking to check what are you getting for your money. The venue was booked from 1pm until 6pm. but many of the party left to find somewhere to eat before returning home.

We booked a two night stay (superior room) with Secret Escapes - the deal included breakfast and dinner on both nights and a complimentary drink from the bar on night one ( I chose champagne). We were visiting a relative who lives locally. Ahead of the stay I spoke and emailed reception to book a table for ourselves and our relative each evening. This was efficiently dealt with and confirmation received via email. The hotel and grounds are in a beautiful setting just outside Uckfield. The hotel has recently undergone a refresh so expect new carpets, soft furnishings and an updated restaurant - it felt that the refresh had a contemporary feel that worked with the history of the building. Our room was very comfortable with a huge superking bed with good linens. The room was well appointed with tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits and complimentary still and sparkling water and this was generously replenished both days. Housekeeping was discreet and efficient.The toiletries were plentiful and of a good quality. I think for us it was the peace and ambience that we enjoyed (we stayed on a Monday and Tuesday - it may be a different feel at the weekend if a wedding was being held). There is ample seating outside to enjoy the weather. I have to commend the chef and their team for the food. It was really delicious and beautifully presented. If I have one criticism the wine is quite pricey…. Expect £50 for a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. All in all a lovely stay and a great deal from Secret Escapes and Horsted Place.

Staff were not welcoming or friendly throughout the afternoon tea experience. Sandwiches were dry and the egg mayo was served in a mini brioche, the two did not work together. Scones were delicious and an amazing lemon curd. Good selection of teas and coffees. Would not return due to staff and the high cost of an average afternoon tea.

Lovely hotel, staff are excellent, fantastic service. Breakfast was first class and waitress was very attentive. Beds were very comfortable, lovely espa toiletries and good shower. Bar staff were very good and having a drink over looking the grounds was very relaxing.

Thanks to everyone at Horsted Place for another very enjoyable two night stay over Easter. Bruno and his team in the new restaurant were super efficient in serving excellent food throughout. Elleesha's front of house team were welcoming, personable and attentive as always. We enjoyed the experience of eating in the newly decorated, light and airy former lounge: we appreciated the views over the garden and the improvement upon the old Parva restaurant, which has become the lounge; also tastefully re-decorated in identical manner. Our fears about how the changes would alter the character of Horsted Place have proved to be unfounded. We understand (reference other comments) that this is 'work in progress' and that the old, well worn lounge furniture is already being sent away piece by piece for re-upholstering. We greatly look forward to seeing the final results at a future stay.
