See (carol21swim) excellent review Sep 2024! In addition to this if you are with TUI beware the xfer was 3.5 hours from Airport to Hotel (we were flying to Newcastle) this is too long. Breakfast is lovely but you’ll be sick of eggs by the end. The Hotel staff and 4 course evening meal and wine options were the highlight for us. We stayed mid September it’s worth pointing out that Limone loses the evening sun around 5pm due to the Mountains. All in all an enjoyable stay.

On arrival we had a Warm welcome at reception ( no welcome drink). We arrived around 2 pm our room was ready. It was a lovely modern room with a pool view. Large shower ( no bath) with lovely toiletries replenished daily. Lots of towels. A lovely beach bag with 2 beach/pool towels and 2 pairs of flip flops were in our room with a safe in the room with kettle/ tea bags etc. also a fridge. Complimentary water left on arrival. Lovely recliner chairs on the balcony. The room was spotlessly clean. House cleaning call in the evening to change your pool/beach towels. Plenty of wardrobe storage with ample coat hangers. We stayed in September for one week on half board. Breakfast is served in the downstairs breakfast room which allows for eating outside near the pool or inside. Breakfast buffet is plenty full, with Persecco on offer, you just help yourself. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Omelettes and eggs are cooked as requested. Tea/ coffee is served at your table. All sorts are on offer and beautifully presented. Porridge needs to be warmer it was Luke warm. We had excellent service from all the staff, they are so friendly and helpful. However one morning we went for breakfast at 9.40 and the food had not been replenished, no porridge available and limited pastries etc. 4.30-5.30 pm daily in the breakfast room afternoon tea is service this is free. Tea/coffee and beautiful home made cakes /biscuits. There are 2 pools one out door and one indoor. The indoor pool has a sauna and steam room for use. Lovely sunbeds are around the pool with free tea, and water. Staff replenish this throughout the day. This pool is handy when the weather is not so good. We had some bad weather while there so used the indoor pool most days. Pool is open from 8 am until 10 pm daily. Showers are available at pool side with body wash and hair dryer is available within the ladies toilet. Lovely sunbeds and sun shades around the outdoor pool with double cabana beds as well. Waiter service is around the pool. It is a 15 min walk to Limone centre a very easy down hill walk and well worth it. The hotel does have a shuttle bus that will drop you off and pick you up from Limone just ask at reception. The driver drops you in the carpark in Limone centre and he waits around there to bring people back. The bus has the hotel name on so you know which one it is. This is a free service from the hotel. The service runs until 7 pm each day. The driver is lovely very friendly. We travelled with TUi from Manchester and the flight was 1 hour 50 mins. The transfer took around 2 hours as they dropped people off in riva de Garda first. The coach drops you off at the main car park in Limone and a mini bus then takes you to the hotel. It was all very seamless. Evening meal is served in the upstairs restaurant. All courses served at your table. Excellent service good wine list. The menu is a 4 course menu but always delicious. Everything is included

Just returned from two weeks at this lovely hotel. It is possibly the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. Every surface was polished without a sign of a blemish or mark from the glass, tiles, chrome , doors and mirrors in our room. Our room was a junior suite which was tiled on the walls and floors and throughout the bathroom . Powered shutters to the balcony kept the sun out in the morning. Powerful rainfall shower and lovely soft towels replaced every day. Kettle and coffee and tea making facilities and a fridge . Big TV on the wall which we didn’t really use as only English Channel was BBC News. Pool towels and a bag provided as well as robes, flip flops and slippers. Breakfast was superb on the little terrace overlooking the pool and gardens. Lots of fresh pastries and bread, cold meats, cereals and cheeses as well as an egg station where the chef would cook eggs to your liking. Service was amazing and the staff were friendly polite and very efficient. They even remembered how we liked our eggs cooking and prepared them without asking.We ate at the restaurant 3 times during our stay and it was like a fine dining experience with beautifully prepared food that looked as well as it tasted. Reasonable prices for such an experience too. We had a couple of trips booked which required an early start and they even opened the restaurant just for two of us at 6:00 am to provide breakfast. Public areas were spotless and gleaming and we had some snacks from the small bar menu on some of the days we spent around the pool. Again , reasonably priced for a 5 star hotel. Sun loungers were comfortable and there are also 3 cabanas. Pool was quite chilly as it was early May but the hydro massage pool was heated so we used that mostly for a quick dip. We had one day where it rained all day so we used the indoor pool, steam rooms and sauna. Again this was extremely clean. Hotel is on the hillside above the town and you can see the lake and the mountains which was lovely. It is about a 10 minute walk down to Limone town and there are various routes to walk both down and up. There is a side gate from the car park , room key controlled, which leads to a footpath and we found that to be very useful. They also offer a free shuttle bus which runs most of the day on request and finishes at 7pm. Loads of places to eat in the town for all budgets and the ferry port is easily reached so you can explore other parts of the lake by boat. As others have said on top of everything else it is the staff that make the difference here. From the restaurant manager to the waiters and waitresses in the bar and the room maids, they were always friendly and polite. If you can, get a private transfer as other guests we had talked to arrived by coach and after lots of drop offs at other hotels it took them nearly 5 hours from Verona airport. We really have been spoiled and when we come back to Limone we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Great Hotel. Great Food. My Wife and I really enjoyed our seven night stay. All the staff were fantastic. Early breakfast was arranged for us, because a day trip to Venice was booked. We missed Dinner that night, so a complimentary lunch voucher was given to us. Vouchers also provided for ferries and cable car rides. Complimentary tea and cakes at 16:30 excluding Sunday. I was confined to the Hotel for the last two days, swollen ankles after walking too much, an ice pack was provided by the Hotel. We can't praise the staff enough. Limone is also a great place to visit.

An absolutely stunning hotel!!! From the lovely bedroom, the fabulous facilities tow the outstanding food and service in the restaurant. Walter, the restaurant manager is amazing and his staff - Lucas, Vanessa x2, Andre, Linda, Nicole, Jayden and more are really lovely and so polite and caring! We really enjoyed our stay - it was 5 star and I wish I was back there now!!!

Had a lovely stay for our honeymoon, the staff are very attentive and go out of their way to make you feel welcome, nothing is too much trouble. The staff at dinner go out of their way to make sure you experience the best, Particularly the wine, they ensure the wine compliments your meal choice and let you taste it first. it is about a 10 minute walk into town, which is down hill, the first thing we noticed was how clean Limone was, it really is breath taking. We found a lovely little restaurant in the back streets up towards the Castel called Speck Stube, we loved it so much that we ate there 3 times!! We crammed in a lot and visited Riva, we went up the glass bastion lift up to a restaurant and had a lovely drink admiring the view, we went up in the cable car to Monte Baldo and then did the alpaca walk, get there early though to avoid ques and book the alpacas before you go. We then came down about lunch time and had lunch by the lake in Malcensie. we also took a trip to Torbole but unless you are into water sports we did not think there was there to do. Wish we had gone to Salo for the day as heard that is a lovely little town to visit. We then went to Malcensie again on a day trip to look around the town and found that lovely as well. The hotel was 5 star and our rooms were turned down each evening which was a lovely touch, I was left a bottle of prosecco as it was also my birthday while staying. We upgraded to a suite, I felt the room was a bit smaller than I expected, but plenty of storage and the beds were very comfortable, bottles of water were left in our room the first few days. A hairdryer, slippers and a dressing gown each was also provided as well as shampoo, shower gel. Also the beach bag with beach towels and flip flops was a lovely touch. We used the pool a few times even though it was very cold, but it was much needed after all the steps we walked into town etc, to cool down. Waiter service was also provided by the pool and all staff were professional and accommodating. I had the best massage in the spa using the voucher provided in the room, this gave a good discount. Breakfast was lovely with a good variety of fruits, cheese's, cold meats, eggs and pastries. You have to ask for freshly squeezed OJ, there is also prosecco available if you wish. I did struggle a times with dinner as I am really not a fish person and I do like beef/steak etc to be red/pink just my personal choice. My only negative about our time away, was that we booked a slot on the tennis court one evening and I did not realise that it was chargeable until we paid our bar bill at the end of the week. It was added on - 18 euros for the hour, I felt that this was really a let down, considering the money we paid to stay for our honeymoon and what we spent at the hotel for the week, I felt very disappointed that we had to pay to play tennis.
