Style without substance ...first impression ok but so many things missing .. Bedroom very small with limited storage in room,why not have bedside drawer units ..?Air con poor. Shelves or drawers in bathroom and some clothing hooks .Balcony remove table then possibly 2x people could sit out at same time .. Reception area with its all white blandness lacks any atmosphere, it's all about the look ..! No books , flowers , paintings , magazines etc sitting there one felt uncomfortable. Pool area , why 8 dilapidated bean bag type sunbeds , use of space poor .Pool needs re con , no treads on steps lots of missing masonry. Yes hotel is very peaceful because nobody stays around it day or night . We had a late flight and was made to feel unwelcome as soon as we vacated our room at 11am ..We were told our luggage could not be stored if we wanted access to it thro the day ie for Pool or changing , so had to have suitcase with us at poolside , lifting up and down steps . Hotel was clinically clean , breakfast was good , but provision of tea pot would be good instead of been served cup of hot water and separate teabag .. This hotel is not 5* and given outside / inside amenities could never be 5* , just don't believe the brochure ... We found contact from Niko uncomfortable and unhelpful ..

As you can only give a maximum of 5 stars I’ve done my own rating system! Location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - literally in the centre of Hersonissos with the best views! A few steps and you have the beach, restaurants and shops. Could not be any better. Hospitality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Greeted outside on arrival and then provided with a tour of the hotel and escorted to our room by the Hotel Manager. Everyone was so pleasant, kind and helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - wow nothing prepared me for such an amazing array of beautifully prepared food in the morning. From freshly squeezed orange juice to porridge, fruits, tea, coffee, bacon, eggs, cereals, nuts and seeds, pastries, cheeses, a fabulous selection of cold meats and to top it all off the best selection of different honey you will every flnd, all of it expertly presented. Even the toaster prepared the best golden toast on the first pass through! There was a choice of seating either inside or outside by the pool. Opened at 7.30am until 9.30am with hot food or until 10.30am with just continental. Rooms ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - we had a sea view room and I’m so glad we did. Nothing compares to getting that view and it made our holiday so much more enjoyable. The added bonus was that at 6am each day we got to enjoy the most incredible sunrise right from the balcony. Everything you could need in a hotel room was provided, tea and fresh coffee, water that was replenished daily, a fridge, safe, hair dryer (with nozzles! 😃), robes, slippers, toiletries and probably one of the best showers in any hotel room! There is air conditioning from the quietest air con I’ve ever had and a ceiling fan too. Rooms were serviced daily and bedding was changed every couple of days. Restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - again amazing hospitality and beautiful food. An excellent selection that catered for everyone’s tastes. Great value for money, cooked to perfection and lovingly presented. We didn’t always eat at the restaurant but did pop in most nights for a nightcap and sometimes one of their delicious puddings off the menu. Highly recommended eating here - plus right on the sea front giving an excellent view! Overall!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - we cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Adult only, perfect location, amazing room, beautifully furnished, stunning views, excellent hospitality and fantastic food. I think it was the saddest I have ever been to leave a holiday and come home. We entered the hotel as guests and definitely felt like we left as friends.

I had a fantastic experience at Vasia Boulevard Hotel in Hersonissos, Crete. The hotel is stylish, clean, and ideally located right by the sea and close to the town’s shops and restaurants. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home from the very first moment. My room was modern and comfortable, with a beautiful sea view. One of the highlights was the hotel’s restaurant — the food was fresh, well-prepared, and served in a lovely beachfront setting. Even though the hotel is centrally located, it remains peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a quiet escape. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed here for a week in May and loved it! The accommodation was lovely. We had a sea view and I would recommend paying the extra for that as we had a little balcony and it was so lovely to sit out there in the morning sunshine to watch the world go by. The Manager and hotel staff were amazing. Everyone was so kind and friendly. They were all utterly professional but also so friendly, generous with their time and welcoming. Thank you Marina for all your advice on places to visit . The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The room was spotless and the bed so comfortable. We loved our stay :-)

I very rarely right reviews but feel I must do one for this hotel if only to enlighten people to the issues that I feel needs raising. Firstly this is down as a 5 star hotel.It’s 3 to 4 star at best. The one thing that struck me reading the other reviews is how little was said about the the size of the pool and pool area and how much it stays in the shade, at least it did from 19/9/24-26/9/24, and finally the lack of a pool bar. The hotel is spotless, the staff are great, the room was adequate but nothing special, the shower was very good, the balcony was nothing to write home about, the WiFi is very good and the breakfast is perfect but unfortunately this doesn’t take away from some of the inaccuracies within the advertising material from both the hotel and the travel company. The pool is small, very shaded and there is definitely no poolside bar,or at least non that I could find. The pool area consists of 8 bean bag type sun loungers that for the elderly may be difficult to get on and off. Non of the negatives above spoilt the holiday. We were in room 201 on the first floor.

Attention to anyone considering booking at Vasia Boulevard Boutique in Hersonissos, Crete. Here are some details that I hope will help you. I will also be posting pictures of the hotel that convey more than words can. We spent seven wonderful days at Vazia Boulevard and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the fantastic service and stylish design. Although we didn't initially have a sea view room, the hotel arranged for us to have a room with a sea view, which was a lovely gesture. The breakfast buffet was a dream, offering a wide variety of hot and cold dishes, delicious pastries, and fresh honey. The professional staff serving breakfast made a real impression – they took orders, served Greek coffee, orange juice, and many other delightful beverages in a very professional manner. The room was extremely fresh and well-maintained every day, with very high-quality bedding. The cleaning staff did an outstanding job keeping it clean and replenishing water and toiletries. The only thing we would have liked was additional storage, as there was only one wardrobe. A small table or similar for placing luggage would have been practical, instead of having to put it on the floor. The staff, from the reception (Maria a Vola and a gentelman whose name i unfortunately don’t recall and to the kitchen and café staff, truly went above and beyond. Especially the hotel manager, Nikos, who was one of the most helpful and professional people we have ever met. He and the entire staff made us feel like part of the family. The hotel's location was also perfect, close to the beach and offering a calm, relaxing atmosphere. We genuinely felt like we wanted to return, and we definitely will. Thank you for a fantastic stay!
