Well not like the pictures we’d seen on net. Very tricky too find as no signage only found it when we in desperation went into a bar called La maison du peke and said we’re looking for this place. A young lady said oh that’s here! We then checked in. Quite a hefty charge for security deposit. Which hopefully will go back on our card. She said no parties?? We’re a couple in our mid 60s😂 Then she took us outside and opened a door with post boxes on looked like old apartments. Then a huge shock a narrow metal spiral staircase which led onto a very steep twisty staircase and even more twisty stairs!! Eventually got to our room. It was ok basic but clean. Had a huge tv. Only for 2 nights wouldn’t have liked it any longer. So be careful and definitely don’t book if you don’t like steep twisty stairs!! You definitely don’t forget anything and need just to pop back. It advertised parking but it’s a walk away in a multi story and that was tricky to find too! It’s 14€ a day. Pros It’s very central. Young ladies in bar are helpful.

The appartment was clean with plenty of space and convenience. We stayed over the weekend and used it as a basis to discover the city. The first impression we got was a street covered with litter and a hallway that smelled of grilled meat from the adjacent restaurant. It got worse in the late hours when the guests of Bugatti cafe situated on the corner were partying until deep in the night. The location in the city centre is conventient for daytime exploration, but in the night you may feel intimidated by ******* that hang out on the square in front of the appartment. I would have preferred staying outside the centre for visting the city and use a bike or moped instead.
