Ok for a quick stop in if you need a spot to stay near lake Vänern. The bed & rooms are a bit dated but dinner & breakfast were good. If there’s a conference going on the dining room will be noisy as it is a large banquet hall like space.

What should of been a wonderful 3 day / night memory stay for my husbands birthday , became a stay of irritation. Starting with buying a package that had a summer buffet only to find the buffet ended in the first half of August though I purchased the package after it ended so was given choice of menu items. The personnel in the Restaurant/Spa/Housekeeping are 5 stars. However check in personnel were impersonal and gave very little information at check in. The restaurant while good food is not set correctly NO SALADS OF ANY KIND, no light meals so very heavy dinners. Not a lot of choice in their set weekly menu for those with lighter appetites. Raw meat dishes or shrimp selection as starters along with one vegan starter. No lunch on Saturdays. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. No water boilers in room or coffee machines. Though in evening a capsule machine was placed on counter with coffee capsules for guests after spa closed at 7. Rooms are inconvenient for long stay no where to put your clothes away like socks underwear etc. 4 hangers to hang clothes up. What was a supposed double superior room was on par with regular double room without closet or dresser at a regular hotel. Double superior room had one comfortable seat one desk chair and small table. Not comfortable seating for two. Outside roof terrace was a Mess, wooden chairs that have not been oiled in a very long time. Impersonal uncared for area with a textile rug left to the weather elements. Nothing materially that changes this so called resort spa into anything other than an impersonal big hotel. While it has a calming outside of nature, a nice relax area of hot tub and saunas and mineral ritual scrub as well as the daylight room, the hours for this are 10 am to 7 pm. Outsiders not staying at hotel also buy passes. Unless your spa is included in price of room it is extremely expensive to use the facility! You need to book your time in the swim spa area max 3 hours. You need to book dinner time. No ice machines . Have to go to main building to get glass of ice as the spa building has limited ice. While the hotel has a wonderfully superb multi-cultural team, someone needs to take another look at how it is run! It was definitely NOT worth almost $600.00 dollars for 3 nights!!!! The absolute only thing I can honestly recommend is the personnel. The rest you can pay half the price for and get better accommodations even in Sweden.

We stayed in a superiour double room but unfortunately didn´t sleep well due to the stiffness of the beds. (I would compare the beds to those found in cheap Mediterranean hotels in the 90's.) We ordered the Summer buffet and it was really good with lots of dishes to shoose from.The only complaint here would be that they didn't include any kind of dessert nor coffee or tea. There were however sweets (cake croissants etc.) as part of the breakfast buffet. I would suggest that the hotel also or instead offer them as dessert after the evening buffet. Now it just seems cheap not to have any kind of dessert included in the summer evening buffet and kind of surplus to have them at breakfast. Beside these issues we enjoyed our stay.

Medioker Spa hotell with the facilities spread out on a very large area from the main building, where the restaurant was situated. The Spa closed early and no possibilities to used it except during day time. Spa was also very expensive (€45) even for hotel guests. Beds was ok but not more, pillows was terrible. Dinner was excellent and breakfast was ok, missing other things but seeds to my yoghurt.

The rooms are small. Our room were not 100% clean... And the rooms are located far away from the SPA and the dining room. Umbrellas are at your disposition, but even so, it's not nice to walk that long distance in the rain nicely dressed up for dinner... Food quite good. Service in diningroom excellent Entrance fee to SPA far too expensive
