As usual for a travelodge the room was basic but clean. All the staff were polite and helpful. The meals here are of a higher standard than others and Thoro the Sunday cook was lovely .

This Travelodge needs a sign of its own showing how to get in. As you are on the road it looks as though the road in is just for Aldi and McDonalds! After a trip round the block we realised that Travelodge is behind Aldi, not clear as you come in off the roundabout.

The lodge is in a good location with plenty of shops and outlets to cater to your needs. The rooms and beds are ok, but the bathrooms are cramped like a caravan. The Aircon was not working correctly during my stay. The curtains do not block out light in the current setup so no good for a day sleep for night working. Evening food was good but breakfast was just ok. Breakfast layout could be better laid out as everyone in each others way.

Everyone at the hotel were super friendly. Our room was spotlessly clean. The bar was open until the early hours too, always a bonus. Saving the best til last, breakfast, (too often a disappointment) was superb. Vegan options, even sausages. Thoro served us and what a star!

Friendly staff and welcoming, clean and great breakfast. Good location, nice surroundings. Thoro was so helpful and friendly at breakfast, accommodated all the families comings and goings at breakfast and went above and beyond, nothing too much trouble

Low initial pricing structure to attract custom but be aware the final price is likely to triple! Avoid the pizzas in the bar cafe. Base like cardboard!

We stayed for the Tryfest festival over the road and could not fault anything here. We pre paid for an earlier check in at 12pm and ended up arriving around 11.30am and our room was ready for us. Smooth check in, great service during breakfast from the female team members working. Overall a lovely stay and we will definitely be back next year!
