After traveling Europe for 8 weeks, we planned to visit Cinque Terre. Unable to find a hotel with a sea view near the marina, we made this B&B booking for x4 nights. Lerici proved to be a great, offering an Italian fishing village. The hosts received us well, assisting with parking and baggage, and our requests for continental breakfast. The B&B has x3 locations: the hosts occupyi the main garden level, and guests occupy the upper sea view level or the garden area adjacent to the hosts quarters. We booked the upstairs sea view. To access the sea view terrace, required climbing an external, tight, circular iron stairwell, difficult to manage, and considered somewhat dangerous.Reaching the top, the view from the sea view is truly wonderful. It turned out that this is the only selling point for the B&B. It was very quiet and peaceful at check in. The quarters behind the sea view terrace consists of a converted attic, where the triangular roof line drops from about 8’ in the center to 4’ on the sides. The storage space is in the 4” section. We hit or scraped our head numerous times on the roofline, forgetting to crouch to place our clothing, or to access one side of the bed.It was very difficult and uncomfortable. The bedding is considered fair, at best. The converted attic consists of a small double bed,, closet space, and bathroom. The space is very small and tight. There is a stairwell running from the hosts quarters to the attic, which is glassed at the top of this stairwell. We found this to be disturbing, since it allowed viewing of the bedroom attic from the hosts quarters and does not assure privacy into the bedroom.n our quarters we heard the hosts conversing and arguing. Since we could hear then talking, it is reasonable to assume they could tune in on our conversation. On the final 4th night, we were subjected to loud snoring during the entire night from the hosts quarters, demonstrating any lack of soundproofing. My wife activated a sound machine to drown out the noise. The bathroom is very small,, barely able to move in the shower. The towel warmers didn't work. The 1st morning, we enjoyed a magnificent sunrise view of Lereci. Sitting on the terrace for the limited continental breakfast, we were bombarded with loud noise from construction next door. Impossible to relax. In the booking confirmation, the hosts requested guests keep the noise level low, but failed to mention the construction. This did not equate. We messaged the hosts stating we should have been informed on the construction, and if so, we would never had made this booking. We requested to shorten our stay to 1 or 2 nights, with a refund, given the noise level. We considered this to be a fair and reasonable since the hosts had concealed the construction in their listing. After messaging and meeting the hosts, it became clear that any refund was refused, blaming the noise on the city ordinance. The hosts offered use of the garden jacuzzi which was appreciated, but which we decl
