Maison d'hôtes la Bageatière - Lac d'Aiguebelette

This is a beautiful famhouse and owners Patricia and Nicolas are so nice. We enjoyed our stay so much. We had booked the Lavender family suite and the room is big and spacious with 2 floors. There is a queen bed with a small balcony at first floor and 2 single beds in second floor. The common area is cozy with reading area and a big dinning table. The farm is massive but as it is a winter, we don't have a chance to enjoy the pool. As our visit was in winter, we were the only guest that evening and we had ordered the welcoming chesse platter and also the dinner, the food are super good and fresh. The portion is so big and we hardly can finish it. The breakfast is perfect and all the utensils are just so cute and in details. Also, it is near Aiguebelette Lake and scenory is maginficent and it also can do hiking and water sport during spring and summer but for us, we just drove along the lake and took pictures but we had a good relaxing afternoon and good rest during our stay here and recharged ourselve to continue our journey to Annecy.

We had a delightful stay on our way to Annecy. The owners warmly greeted us and made us feel comfortable and at home right away. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, prepared with fresh organic ingredients from the property or local area. Nicolas and Patricia were both gracious, accommodating, and kind. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Well worth getting off the beaten path to enjoy this quiet, relaxing retreat.
