This is a well managed hotel under the personal supervision of the owner family who create a high standard of cleanliness, staff professionalism and food quality. For example, although the breakfast buffet is self-service there was always one or two staff members present to deal with any queries or shortages and to offer extras such as freshly squeezed orange juice. We saw hotel employees regularly doing cleaning and maintenance tasks. We enjoyed the terrace behind our room, overlooking the river Vers about 100 metres before it flows into the Lot. In the evening (we took the good value demi-pension option) there was an ample choice for each course from the “tradition” menu, served in an attentive and friendly manner.

Wonderful place to stay. Staff are friendly, helpful and thoroughly professional. The location, right by the Lot and its tributary the river Vers, is special. So is the food in the recently refurbished restaurant. This is a special place for us and we keep returning!

Our balcony overlooking the little spillway and park was a delight. The bed was super comfortable and we had plenty of room. The included breakfast and dinner were both extremely well prepared and presented. We had a bottle of the Cuvée Madison and it was delicious.

Very good staff who were keen to do anything to help. The room was in an annexe, very average room , paper cups, bad hair dryer lights that had to be pressed on. An OK hotel improved by the happy and helpful staff. Food was average with a limited menu.Staff in spa was excellent.

This was our 4th stay over a period of 15 years and the hotel never disappoints. Our room (above the restaurant) was new to us as the riverside rooms were already booked but its small balcony had a wonderful view and the room itself very comfortable. The only issue was that the outside steps to the 1st floor are extremely slippery when it has rained! Restaurant superb in every way - dinner a delight- and (with one exception ) staff really efficient, helpful and friendly. We will return whenever we can be in the area!

Very comfortable room overlooking the Vers stream and old town buildings. Lovely balcony and very comfortable bed. Breakfast and dinners excellent with staff very friendly and welcome. We visit usually twice a year and are never disappointed.
