This is a well managed hotel under the personal supervision of the owner family who create a high standard of cleanliness, staff professionalism and food quality. For example, although the breakfast buffet is self-service there was always one or two staff members present to deal with any queries or shortages and to offer extras such as freshly squeezed orange juice. We saw hotel employees regularly doing cleaning and maintenance tasks. We enjoyed the terrace behind our room, overlooking the river Vers about 100 metres before it flows into the Lot. In the evening (we took the good value demi-pension option) there was an ample choice for each course from the “tradition” menu, served in an attentive and friendly manner.
