Big4 Tassie Getaway Park Ulverstone

A small caravan park with very friendly and helpful staff. Small sites, however has a great camp kitchen and clean and up to date amenities. We were allowed a late checkout to make late Spirit of Tasmania. Ulverstone is a great little town with a great Chinese Restaurant Rise 88 and Oliver’s is a great bakery. Recommended

Fantastic. The managers allowed us to check in as soon as we arrived of the ferrie. Ie. 6 hours earlier than we had booked. They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Nothing was a problem. The facilities are some of the best and cleanest we have experienced. We have no problem on highly recommending this caravan park to all of our friends.

Stayed at the Big4 Ulverstone for 4 nights in Nov 23. We had an excellent time. The park staff were simply outstanding - arranging lots of activities for the kids including a guest appearance by 'Bluey', ice cream trucks, loads of kids activities, concerts and much more. Heaps of amenities, including a pump track next door for the MTB heads. Their is a genuine family friendly and laid back vibe that takes you back to your childhood. Highly recommended.

We spent 10 nights here whilst we explored the north coast of Tassie. Such a great central spot, close to Woolies and lots of shops. The park was just across the road from the beach which was beautiful and a nice beach to walk along each morning. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating letting us have a late check out as we waited to depart on the Spirit of Tasmania. We loved our stay here. The only feedback I could provide for future travellers is that the sites are quite small and packed in so in busy times it might be very cosy as we were close to our neighbours. And the other consideration is the train line which runs adjacent to the camp, it can be loud but didn’t bother us too much. Just a consideration. Would definitely stay again. Lovely park

Great caravan park,in stunning Ulverstone. Quite a large park with lots of different accommodation options. We had booked a budget family cabin,our cabin was lovely, it looked like it was very new, sparkling clean and fresh. The bathroom in this cabin is very nice although quite small,would be tight for 4 people, There is shower wash provided in the shower, and handwash provided at the hand basin. Shower was great. I wasl ooking for a hair-dryer but was not able to find one in any of the cupboards. The bedroom again was very fresh and clean, only a double bed, which was a bit of a surprise, but comfortable. This park is opposite the beautiful Ulverstone beach. And just outside the gates of the caravan park is an awesome park with a skate park. Everything you needed was provided in this cabin. If you required anything extra it could be provided to you at a cost e.g extra pillow or blanket. While this cabin was very nice, it was the most expensive accommodation we stayed in on our trip around North West Tasmania.
