50 m from lift fantastic Mountain View organic great breakfast and the reception stuff as polite and supporting as it gets! Highly recommended snow sure destination at the best location in Lech cosy comfortable with no flaws detected …! Would definetely visit again

We have visited the Berghof Hotel many times in the last few years. On each occasion there have been improvements and this was indeed the case this year. The bedrooms are very comfortable and kept spotless. The changes in the decor and arrangements for breakfast improved matters. Food is of the highest quality and the wine is good value. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally sited away from the bustle of the Main Street and yet a short distance to the ski lifts. We hope to return.

Beautiful stylish hotel with excellent service - never obtrusive, but always there if you need it. Ollie and Fabian, the bartenders, are outstanding. Looking really forward to visit Lech and Der Berghof again.

We just returned from our summer holidays in Austria. Even though the village of Lech was flood only 2 weeks ago we didn't change our travel plans as the Berghof was not effected at all. Hotel was perfect. Food was excellent. Staff: well trained and extraordinary friendly (ask for Uli at the bar, he knows all the hiking tips, where to go, where you shouldn't). Rooms: top standard even with DVD Spa: up to date and 'Zen' like.

This hotel is in a prime location in the centre of town, but elevated above the main street with a lift just off the main street to reach the main entrance .. a nice bonus after a day out in the mountains. The tourist information office is right next door to the lift entrance, and the gondola lift station is very close by. The meals are delicious and generous from an extensive buffet breakfast with something for everyone to the gourmet 6 course dinner. All the staff were friendly and helpful and spoke perfect english despite our attempts with the local language.

Der Berghof is an excellent hotel in Lech and one we would highly recommend. We were in room 115 and found the accommodations to be very comfortable for our family of four with two young children. Very thoughtful use of space with tons of storage, which is key for a ski trip. Room had impressive mountain views and a sizable balcony area. The hotel is built very well and sound is not an issue at all. Location is great, and the elevator to town is a great feature. From your room to the main street it only takes one to two minutes. Kids ski school pick up and drop off is literally outside the hotel, so you couldn’t ask for more convenience. Ski storage room is very nice with heated boot racks. The spa definitely exceeded my expectations, despite not having a pool. Several saunas, a wonderful steam room, a cold plunge, and various other options that are typically only found in five star resorts. My wife and I received several massage treatments and they were fabulous. Very good food. Lots of options to make everyone happy, nice preparation and presentation, and clearly quality ingredients. Half board makes the experience very easy. Everyone at the hotel is incredibly pleasant and competent. The gals at the front desk are so kind and helpful. Lin (restaurant manager) and Pascale (sommelier) were notably exceptional. My only minor constructive observation is that there were several occasions where no one was at the front desk, the bar, or the spa. The team was always hustling to help guests, but it felt like they were slightly understaffed at the time. The hotel arranged for car services, lift tickets and quickly accommodated numerous requests. I would say this is very very close to being a five star resort. It is absolutely exceptional for a four star. We will certainly look to return. Show less
