Wonderful house with a great view Such a wonderful place to stay! The view of Mt Elbert off the front porch was amazing and made a great place to read. The house was just as advertised, except the kitchen was really well stocked. We cooked almost every night, and with the grocery store just down the street we saved a lot of money. After a day of skiing, the hot tub was a perfect way to sooth sore muscles. Thanks for a great week!

Fantastic location, quiet neighborhood Our family stayed at Matchless for a quick ski trip to Cooper. Location is perfect and easy access to ski (15 minutes) There is a Safeway right around the corner as well as an Ace Hardware and Gas Station. Restaurants are 5 minutes away. Carolyn was responsive and communications were very easy. House is well stocked with everything, linens plentiful and very clean. We will be back :)

Amazing property We loved our time at Matchless Mountain Lodge! It fit our family perfectly, had plenty of towels, and a well stocked kitchen. It is just a couple minutes away from a grocery store, and just a few minutes more from the downtown area with all the gift shops. Carolyn was super helpful when we had a few questions and there were little extra touches throughout the house that made the stay special. My kids loved all the games, books, and toys! But the best thing for us was the amazing view of Mt. Elbert right out the front window. I could sit on the couch, or on the front porch, and stare at that view for hours. If we ever make it back to Leadville we want to stay here again!

Great Fall Weekend in Leadville Spent the weekend at Matchless Mountain with friends for a bike race. Location is quiet and peaceful. Nice, big cabin with great hot tub. Kitchen is well stocked. The kids were also happy and entertained with the toys/books. Owner is responsive and kind. Look forward to coming back in 2024!
