I booked and paid for a room with a kitchen, spent over $250 in groceries but upon arrival and after checking in we walked into a small, outdated room with NO kitchen at all. After going to the office and complaining they checked and said that the rooms had been renovated and some of the rooms no longer had kitchens and they had no other rooms available. After driving 5 hrs with 2 teenagers we were kind of stuck with what we had which was an extremely outdated room with NO bathroom door. It was a sliding farm door that you could hear everything into the room(who ever thought of putting that in was not thinking clearly) The views are SPECTACULAR, the venue is nice enough with a really good food truck(best food) but i would NOT stay in those rooms again.

This was our second year to stay here. We were traveling through the Keys each time with different friends. We wanted something near the water, convenient and affordable. They have cottages with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, and full kitchen - perfect for our needs. It is a beautiful, peaceful setting on the water. No frills but very clean and comfortable. We had no hot water one morning and it was fixed right away. Nice staff and a little store with beverages.

We stayed in a cottage and overall was a good stay. We came down for a bridge fishing trip and the location to do that is excellent. The cottage did have a couple of maintenance issues but they were fixed right away. Kudos to the worker that rescued a flip flop that fell in the water. He even went and got a kayak to help us out!! The grounds were very nice and the BBQ truck had good food onsite.

The partial ocean view cottage was ok. Everything is a little sticky. Needs a good cleaning. A little TLC will go a long way. That being said. It is a nice little lodge. Great outdoor common areas. Snorkeling right on sight. Tasty food truck open for lunch and dinner. Friendly, helpful staff.

This is a fabulous property. It's undergoing some changes which all appear to be for the better. My one and only suggestion is that the shower head in Tarpon 4 should be changed out for a handheld one since the shower is so small. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with this property.

This place is truly amazing. The staff are awesome and the food truck Lick It was fantastic. Great price for a great place!!

The room was way nicer than I expected, and the front desk guy was really helpful.

#1. The rusty window room air-conditioner was a roaring nightmare. The room was right by the ocean and extremely humid all day. We had to rely on the air-conditioner for the night. However, it was too old to function quietly. The sound disrupted my sleep; my wife and I woke up a few times. #2. All the furniture was dirty. The table, chair, dresser and chest were all covered with a thin layer of filthy and adhesive film. Although the bed sheets were clean, the rest of the room was inhabitable. A motel would do better than this place. #3. Congested parking area. It was a dead-end unpaved road with only one way in and out. And the assigned parking space was quite limited. You had to be really careful navigating a vehicle. It may not be a deal breaker but didn't set your mood bright. #4. Blocked sunset view. I noticed critical reviews before booking this lodge and was still impressed that most reviewers were amazed at the sunset view. However, no one pointed out that the sunset was COMPLETELY blocked by the overseas highway. There is NO spot on this property where you can enjoy a real sunset view. #5. Noise, noise, noise. Guests had to share the lodge with owner's BIG family. Kids were always around, running and goofy. Guest rooms were just several steps away from a restaurant, Lick It BBQ & Wood Fire Pizza, with outside seating only which was those tiki huts in the lodge. Local residents gathered here from dusk till late night.
