타쿠마 부티크 호텔(Takuma Boutik Hotel)

I can not say enough good things about this charming hotel. From the moment we arrived and every time we returned home at the end of the day, the staff were friendly, welcoming and willing to go above and beyond. They gave us perfect recommendations for how to travel to/where to park to visit El Limon waterfall, and accommodated our afternoon coffee desires even when their cafe was closed. (Their espressos are delicious!) Additionally, breakfast was DELICIOUS with fresh fruit everyday, freshly squeezed juice, coffee, and a complete menu with any type of eggs, omelet, avocado toast, and other local breakfast food options. We didn't try the smoothies but they looked very good! Every day our rooms were beautifully cleaned. There was gated parking and the hotel itself felt very secure, just a quick walk from the beach. This hotel was a large part of the reason we loved the Dominican Republic so much! (Playa Punta Poppy was our favorite, which is closest to Takuma). I can't recommend this place enough, we will be back for sure!

Great location. Walking distance to the beach, food, bank, and small shops. My mom and I loved the hotel, staff, and services. Will recommend it to all.

First of all, we want to apologize for the late review. We got back to Curacao and regretted getting on that airplane. I think that says enough! Thank you so much for the hospitality, amazingly beautiful hotel and super fantastic "must do" quad rental. You all and especially Luis made sure we enjoyed our vacation to the max. We will be back but hope to see you guys here on the island too...

I loved this place!!! very unique and beautiful and the staff was amazing. Walking distance to the beach, I definately recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a beautiful time as a couple or couple friends . Bed so comfortable the aesthetic of the place is just beautiful

Great location…beautiful pool…very clean

Aside from the hotel being absolutely beautiful, the rooms were unique as well. Extremely clean and comfortable. All of the staff from beginning to end including the breakfast staff, were over the top welcoming. They made us feel like family. The breakfast was delicious everyday. Will definitely return and recommend to all.

My initial reaction was different than the actual experience as the place outside looks very clean yet plain. After I when inside the front door, it looks like a mini-oasis with a neutral appoin**ent of furnishing and the pool with a bridge leading to the rooms, makes you feel you re going to your own private paradise. the staff was very attentive, and the morning breakfast (included in the room rate) was fantastic. I will be coming back with my wife only this time as I was with my kids. overall, I am very happy with my decision to stay at Takuma.
