H10 플라야 에스메랄다 - 어른 전용(H10 Playa Esmeralda - Adults Only)

We just wrapped up a 2 week stay at Playa Esmeralda. We were 2 couples. We had an amazing time! The rooms were nice and spacious, plenty of activities offered, great food variety, absolutely amazing performers, etc! The longer we stayed the more we appreciated the hotel and especially the staff. They really made the experience worthwhile for us! Some of the kindest, gentlest, most dedicated folks you’ll ever meet! Obviously, no hotel is ever 100% perfect, but we had everything we needed and more and we knew it was no small feat for the staff to offer all that they did.

My ten days were everything I wanted them to be. Pure relaxtion! At no time did I feel uncomfortable being there on my own. For me, all elements of the hotel were perfect. The staff were exemplary - nothing too much trouble, very professional. Everywhere was very clean, my room was comfortable, the inclusive activities were brilliant, excellent massage at the spa, fabulous food choices. I'll be going again and maybe again and again!

We returned from our fifth visit to the Esmeralda in two years a few days ago and yet again it did not disappoint. Hotel was as lovely as ever and all the staff were as friendly and hardworking as previous visits. It was great to see everyone again and also meet some new members of the team. All the staff are a credit to the hotel. We cannot fault this hotel and it suits us perfectly for our needs. We always stay in Privilege and look forward to sampling the new dinner menu which launched a few days after we left. The new Stromboli Italian restaurant is a nice addition to the hotel and well worth trying. Costa Calma is a low key resort not for party animals. Looking forward to returning late October.

Our third stay now and we weren't disappointed . From arrival you get such a lovely friendly welcome from the staff, and that continued throughout the holiday with all staff being so cheerful. All of the hotel is well maintained, always so clean and tidy. Our room was as usual perfect and the ladies that clean the rooms are always checking in to stock us up if we need anything . Enjoyed meals at all the restaurants and the entertainment was great. Highly recommend the Esmeralda

Had a 10 day stay late in April. We were warmly welcomed, check-in was excellent and very informative, we were given a welcome glass of bubbly and taken to our room. We had booked a privilege junior suit and “wow” it was amazing with the biggest balcony and fantastic sea views. The beds were huge and very comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Bathroom had a great walk-in shower. The housekeeping came every day and kept the room spotless, my husband enjoyed communicating with Jessica via google translate. We were also visited every evening and offered clean towels and given chocolates and extra coffee when we needed it. The main buffet restaurant did get busy at peak times however the staff cleared and re-laid tables very efficiently, drink orders were taken and delivered to your table very quickly. The choice of food was varied and replenished continually, if something had run out it was replenished within a very short time, which meant the food was a good temperature. We ate breakfast in the Privilege dinning room and the choice was fantastic. Fresh coffee (tea) and orange juice brought to the table, orders taken for hot food taken and this was prepared to order, I liked asking for just bacon and would get a fresh bread roll to make a bacon bap…yummy. The breads, pastries, cold meats, fresh fruit etc were brilliant. We also ate here on several evenings and the food was just fantastic. We also ate a couple of evenings in the new pizzeria Stromboli and again it’s fantastic. The only negative we can say about either the El Jable and Stromboli is for us the portion sizes were huge!! We had lunch a few of times at the Maxorata snack bar, once was for the BBQ which was lovely and loads to choose from, they made lovely cocktails/mocktails. We went to Mikes coffee a couple of times (the milkshake was not to our liking) but the coffee latte macchiato Bailey’s was so good. We liked the privilege lounge, it was nice to go in there for a drink before dinner. The entertainment in the Blue bar was very chilled and relaxed but we spent evenings at the Maxorata bar as preferred the entertainment down there. Please be aware that not all of the staff speak English however they will go above and beyond to try and communicate with you, even asking other staff to help with finding out what we wanted. Personally we never encountered anything other than polite, happy, helpful staff who really did everything to make our stay as positive as possible. When we come back to Fuerteventura we will definitely be booking Playa Esmeralda again.

Pros- great location, fantastic beaches and sea, clean hotel Cons- ‘some’ staff can be very arrogant/rude (male bar staff), undesirable food if you can find any as trays were often left empty, hotel caters mainly for Germans. When another resident put in a formal complaint regarding the food and other issues with the hotel manager his response was to tell us to think ourselves lucky we were not in a third world country! We enjoyed our stay in Costa Calma, if we visit again we would NOT be booking to stay at this hotel. A shame as other H10’s were have stayed have been amazing 😔

Great fun, we stayed for a short period of 7 days, but was great. Bar is great, food awsome, staff polite and rooms very tidy. Water was too cold to swim, but the temperature was ok to lay in the sun. Great cocktails! Would recommend for a short trip.

The hotel has a super location, and overall, the property is very spacious and large, yet cozy. The beach is easily accessible on foot and right in front of the hotel. I nice sand beach. There is a turtle enclosure between the corridor and the elevators in the main building, which gives the property a wonderful appearance. The pools are very large and more than adequate. There are plenty of loungers, so you don't have to compete for umbrellas and loungers by the pool. The double room with a side sea view, which I shared with my mother, was very nice and cozy. From the balcony, we had a beautiful view of the pool and the sea. There is much to discover and plenty of walking paths; just walking around the property quickly adds up your daily steps. There is also mini-golf directly on the property, which costs very little and is a lot of fun without having to leave the hotel. On the 5th floor, there is a super view of the sea, but even on the 4th floor, where the restaurant is located, you can sit indoors or outdoors and enjoy the beautiful view. We had meals on half board, with a huge buffet for breakfast and lunch. The food is delicious, and the dishes varied slightly depending on the day. For breakfast, there is Prosecco, which is already a higher standard in hotels, as well as fresh smoothies, crepes, etc. The hotel staff are all very friendly: very accommodating at the reception, the cleaning staff is very nice, the bar staff is very friendly and efficient, and you can also have a good lunch at the bar during the day, which is also quick. The waiters in the restaurant are all very nice and quick. The entertainer Wajdi is a super cheerful person who excites everyone with his motivating and friendly manner. We were more than happy to have our sports sessions, boules, stretching on the beach, water sports on the bikes in the water, and cocktail mixing classes with him. He always brings a positive atmosphere, which is really fun. Thanks for having such inspiring people. In the evenings, there is live music with various artists and musicians. You can also dance. Unfortunately, we found that the music starts at 9 p.m. and ends at 10:30 p.m. We would have liked to have more time. It would have been nice if there was another place where you could party and enjoy music for longer. Otherwise, all in all, we really enjoyed our time there. We highly recommend the hotel. Although it was nice on half board, if we were to travel there again (which we definitely plan to do at some point), I would opt for all-inclusive, as it is really worth it.

Had an incredible brilliant stay. Its an amazing place with the most beautiful views and great location. The staff are amazingly friendly and will always go the extra mile. We had a great culinary experience and a wonderfull relaxing time. Utterly enjoyed the wavefull show. Would definitely recommend ! Just like Arnold said, I'll be back ...
