Great location. Very friendly staff. Fantastic room with free safe and fridge,pool towels also come free. A wonderful view from the room with a large balcony that gets the morning sunshine. Pool area clean with loads of sunbeds. Nice pool bar to cool down in. Food was fabulous. Nightly entertainment. A great hotel I will definitely return.

This was an opportunity to get some rest and relaxation with some winter sun and the Labranda Golden Beach, did not disappoint. The hotel, just an hour and a half from the airport had a modern feel and was very clean. we had an option to upgrade our room, on arrival, to a sea view, which I highly recommend. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with lots of hanger space. The bathroom was again very clean and had a modern deluge and hand shower combo within the floor-level infinity walk-in shower cubicle, which was superb. The balcony was private, with a splendid view of both the pool and the sea. The dining area was spacious and the food plentiful and fresh, with multiple options. We travelled on an all-inclusive package and it didn't disappoint. There were plenty of drink options in the dining area including Amstell Lager, house wines white, red or rose soft drink dispensers and ground coffee machines. These were available at all meal times. The pool was excellent for both swimming and paddling, whatever your preference, if not a little cold in January, but once you're in, no problem. The poolside bar offered drinks and snacks throughout the day with recyclable multi-use plastic beakers were ideal. A brisk walk, via a rear pathway, took you to the shops or within a third of a mile, to the beach. The walk to the beach is pleasant but downhill, so prepare for a climb back to the hotel. As a runner, I made my way to run along the beach, daily, and was pleased to see it busy during the early morning, both fellow runners, beach walkers and also a few sessions of beach yoga. The beach was fantastic with toilet and washing facilities and a few beach taverns, ideally located. Due to the off-peak time of our visit, entertainment wasn't great, neither at the hotel nor at the resort, but it didn't dampen our holiday objectives. There was entertainment at the hotel bar, but this was limited to single acts, that started late and finished quite early. There is a well-appointed gym, but I decided not to use it, in favour of my daily beach runs. A special mention must go to the hotel staff. From check-in to restaurant and bar service to the cleaners, all welcoming and were very helpful. My partner has mobility issues and the support we received to make our stay comfortable was exceptional, even putting a sun lounger on the balcony, to restrict the need to walk to the poolside loungers as often as would otherwise have been needed. All in all an excellent hotel that met our needs perfectly. We certainly had the holiday blues on our return and look forward to returning someday soon.

British holidaymakers - do not hesitate to book this hotel. It is a little gem. The adults only hotel offers a relaxing, calm and sophisticated holiday in a modern building and surroundings thanks to the revamp in 2023. We stayed in a swim-up pool room which was just marvellous. Swim-up pool/room overlooks the main pool area so still fully immersed in any action. The good stuff: - calm mealtime experience with no queues - ample food with some variations as each evening is themed - self service to drinks at mealtimes and bubbles available at breakfast! - clean and modern rooms - showers were powerful, ample open plan wardrobe space, large flat screen TV, twin beds, sofa, safe box, fridge, good air con! - ample sun loungers/parasoles - friendly staff and management presence - quiet surroundings within the hotel complex. Could hear a pin drop at times. - Entertainment wasn't tacky or loud. If you have a swim-up pool you can join in with aqua arobics in the comfort of your own pool. - very modern & spotless reception area/grounds - on-site souvenir shop well priced - nearby supermarkets/shops (Spar/Hiper Dino) - walking distance to beach (10 mins) and there's a fantastic beachside bar/restaurant called Costa Calma Beach Bar, cocktails just €6.95 and use proper ingredients and you sit under the palms with the sand under your toes. Things to note: - beach towels requires a €10 deposit and a further €1 each time you want it washed. I personally felt for an adults only hotel this was unnecessary. This was the only grumble I had about this hotel. - directions to beach aren't signposted. There's a green path behind the main swimming pool, under the arch, that leads you to the Spar supermarket and beach. - only one bottle of complimentary water upon arrival in room. I felt this was a little tight for a 4☆ hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here and would return without question.

Nothing much to complain about, the reviews are good consistently, however plenty of scope to improve and make it an excellent. Room maintenance needs checking whoever is responsible for confirming the plumbing is up to scratch isn’t getting any glowing references Staff must be busy with only a few taking the time to engage with us, this maybe down to language barriers Pool staff were by far the most engaging and made a difference to the holiday Food is quality better than average and consistently good Compared to other franchises I rate this less than some I’ve stayed in, this is clearly represented in price which I thought was fair “ you get what you pay for “

I recently returned from a few weeks holiday at Labranda Golden Beach. I had a fab time there with nothing but praise for all the staff from the Manager down, nothing was too much trouble. Must mention Humberto ( the animator) who had a hard job to get people to interact with the daytime games! Weather was good most of the time. Especially enjoyed the singer outside by the pool bar one evening ( although slight interruption for some light rain).and was good to see the manger and family supporting the evening.yes I had every intention to return for the same number of weeks again this October, however when I checked prices for a holiday of the same duration and board ( either this October or next April), I found to my dismay the prices have increased by 68%!!! To say I was horrified is an understatement ( by the way this is with jet2) so don’t think I can justify booking back here at that increase ! I usually book for 7 weeks so I have to use jet2 !

The overall experience was fantastic, staff was very friendly and nice, the hotel was very clean, food was good and very diverse. I will highly recommend further to anyone, at least to try it and experience the good time that we had. We’ll go again for sure.

I have not written a review before, but felt the need to and so here goes….. I think that the hotel has potential It requires an injection of cash. it would benefit from investment in almost all of the areas of the complex, it is ‘rough around the edges’ , in particular the accommodation. Our room 101, was a swim up room. Due to the lack of maintenance it was not to the standard that I would have normally expected. On the third morning we awoke to a large area of the plaster falling off the wall and spores forming from the damp in our room (it looked as though it was a reoccurring issue that had been hastily repaired before we arrived and would need to be done again when the next guests checked-in after us). . Unfortunately, due to the damp we had an uninvited guest - a large cockroach! . My daughter and her husband stayed in room 104 and this had a bad smell of sewage as soon as the door to their room was opened this smell lingered all week. (possibly due to a fractured pipe at the back of the toilet). We reported this to the receptionist on two separate occasions but disappointingly no attempt was made to investigate nor rectify the problem. Can I say “that this is bad practice to say you will do something and then don't”. - The food served was to a good standard (what I would expect for this 3 star Hotel) and the waiting staff and the Restaurant Manager are to be commended for their hard work and friendliness (well done to them).

Golden Beach is a great place for a mini break, however I think I'd struggle for 7 days. If you're an avid beach lover, the location is perfect however the resort is lacking bars/restaurants I found. I came here as a solo female traveller from Thursday to Sunday, the perfect amount of time for this hotel. I went all inclusive, the drinks were fab but the food was average for a vegetarian. I didn't struggle however, but just a little repetitive. The staff were fab, super friendly and inviting. This was my first solo holiday, and felt very safe in this hotel. I was on the third floor, my room was spacious and clean. They tidied my room everyday and gave fresh towels. There is no large mirror in the main room and thought they could do with this. There were plenty of sunbeds, it was never struggle at any time of day but this was May so slightly out of season. The interiors were nice, however I think the hotel did need a bit of TLC. Just those small touches like fixing up walls, fresh lick of paint etc. The hotel gym didn't open until 10am, so didn't end up using it as I like an early session and wanted to embrace every minute of sunshine. To note if you're thinking of booking a swim up room, in the afternoon the sun comes from behind the hotel so the swim up pool and balcony/terrace is in full shade from like 2/3pm. I think I'd be miffed if paid for that and then be in shade! So bear that in mind for consideration. Would I come here again? Probably not, but it's more around the resort of Costa Calma for me rather than the hotel. I'm usually a Lanzarote girl, and for me that it where my heart is! But great to visit Fuerteventura as the beaches really are breathtaking!

Just got back from a week here 12th-19th May room 411 - half board I’d be looking for a long long time on where to book for a last minute solo trip. This was where I’d decided to book and im so glad I did! -Room was lovely and it was huge with lots of storage + a really good shower!! -good aircon -food was really good. Some nights I did struggle a bit as there was a lot of fish but that’s just me being fussy. I always found something to eat. There is so much choice there for every meal like other reviews say. -Flight was later than checkout so was given a room to shower in just before transfer collected me free of charge. -All staff id spoke with were really friendly and polite. A big shout of to Humberto (hamburger) who really made the trip fun! Really good activities offered to keep everyone who wanted to join in occupied and was always around chatting to the guests round the pool. A real asset to this hotel!! top man!! -sea views from my room were amazing! -beautiful beach literally 5 minutes walk from the hotel! -really wasn’t a lot to do around the hotel so if you’re looking for local towns/bars/markets etc then this probably isn’t the best hotel for you. I just wanted a week of chill and that was perfect for me! -pool area was so clean with comfortable beds! -hotel was mostly German guests like other previous reviews mentioned! I was one of the only brits there so couldn’t have much typically weather chit chat etc round the pool with anyone like you usually do on holiday but wasn’t a problem, just something to be aware of. So glad I booked this hotel and would definitely recommend. I wouldn’t hesitate to return! Nathan
