로스 소코스 임프레시브 란사로테(Los Zocos Impressive Lanzarote)

We had a great experience at this hotel, travelling as 2 families of 5 and 6 and arriving on New Year’s Eve and returning on 7th Jan 2024. The hotel has a great location near to the beach and local amenities. Our two-bed suite was spacious, very clean and well equipped. There is no air-con switched on during winter, but the temperature during the day was average 22 degrees and cooler at night, so was not needed at all any way. One of our favourite things about the suite was the ‘L’ shape layout, giving a sense of privacy between bedroom spaces, and also the lovely balcony area. We stayed in room 1131 in block 1 and had a pool view. The only thing I would say is that the matresses are quite thin, but we still found them perfectly fine for our stay. The hotel pool areas were well-maintained and the pools were very clean (not heated FYI). Pool bar was inside which was good in cooler weather/early evening. Drinks choices good and liked the reusable plastic cups and collection points, helping to keep the outside area clean. We were really pleased with the food choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner - we couldn’t fault it really. The added option of the oriental and Galeon bar is a great addition and the food in there was lovely, we felt. Not a really extensive choice, but most definitely enough as an extra option. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Entertainment team fantastic. They were great with little ones and worked really hard. The shows were what you would expect from an all-inclusive, with some nice touches - our favourite was the fire show and it was nice to have a live singer poolside one day. Crazy golf was also a good addition and volleyball nets. Grounds really well- maintained and we felt the whole place was kept very clean, right down to seeing window cleaners etc. There are a choice of a couple of places to get a drink in the evening. And there are also a choice of bars etc nearby away from the hotel if you want to venture out (lots with happy hour and lovely tapas!). It’s about a 20-25 min drive to the hotel from the airport and we really liked the surrounding resort too. Our older teenage children spent hours in the sea a little way down the coast exploring snorkelling and finding sea life. We had a trip to the Dominican Republic (Royalton Punta Cana) back in August 2023 which cost a lot more than what we paid for this holiday (and which ended up being a nightmare) - Los Zocos beats it hands down in pretty much every way!

This is a huge cafeteria that has buffet lunch with a wide variety of food from salads, cheeses, cold cuts, bread, pizza, French fries, fish, chicken, beef, pork, paella, pasta, fruits, cakes, ice creme, soda, juice drinks, coffee. It costs €20. To me, the price has to be €5 less.

Firstly I didn’t like to be told when to eat. We were told there are two sittings for dinner, the first for families,so we were given the 8 0 clock sitting, therefore at 8 there was queues for dinner. Also if you want to have a drink before dinner there is only the snack bar where you will be served a drink in a paper cup, )not good if you want a glass of wine). The entertainment was again suited to families, mini disco was followed by the usual acts, but come 22.15 the lights came on and everyone was told good night. Being a couple with no children to put to bed we expected to stay out later than 22.15 when we’re on our holidays. Having stayed at many hotels in the Canary Islands I would not rate this a four star. On the positive the room/Junior suite that we stayed in was very nice, spacious and clean with a large balancing overlooking the pool.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel asked for suite on the ground floor and that's what we got. The room was excellent size ways but the only issue I had with it was if you were sitting in it the seating is extremely low and an awkward shape. The food for an all inclusive was fantastic the best I have ever had in an AI. There is even a Chinese buffet to be had everyday. The entrance to it seemed strange as it's nearly outside. Breakfast for example had real back bacon English sausage and even black pudding along with plenty of additional breakfast items. The entertainment group were all fantastic and got everyone who had tried one thing to try another and another. The grounds are very well kept indeed and there was ample room at the pools. Now there where we noticed piles of sun beds set to the side so I am guessing that this place could get very busy. Would I like to be here if it was very busy the answer is no. So will we return yes as long as we keep it when it's quiet.

Lovely place to stay. Staff very friendly. Good food and plenty of it. The food was constantly being refreshed. The oriental buffet could have been better as literally only a small handful of dishes each night so not much choice. We were there during a heat wave but the pools were freezing so although it was hot we didn’t make much use of the pools sadly. Accommodation was a little tired but handy having a little kitchen with fridge to keep water and drinks cold. Would have preferred to have had both children in the lounge area as opposed to having one in our room but you make do. Supermarket and gift shop next door. More gift shops, bars and the beach just a short walk across the road. Don’t book for the Sunday market at the ticket office which is adjoining the hotel. You’ll end up paying ridiculous amount when you can catch the local bus service for €2 per person one way. We were with jet 2 And did their volcano evening tour with a meal which was a lovely experience. Very interesting and the food was lovely. Also recommend the jet skiing. Think it’s called h20. It’s recently opened but they have another rental office further round the island. You can also do buggy tours from there. Service was excellent and they went above and beyond to help my disabled husband to access the jet skis.

I would rate this hotel as a 3 star - anything more seems like false advertising. I read mixed reviews before booking but gave the benefit of doubt which i do regret. The hotel overall seemed very cheap/budget hotel - personally i've stayed in better travelodges. The room seemed old/tardy, eg cupboard doors hanging off and tired looking appliances, no tea or coffee in the rooms, very old un-appetising kettle, dirty looking cups and cutlery, tired looking bathroom. Beds Beds were comfortable but the pillows were very odd - not normal pillows, long very flat pillows - not hotel standard, no headboard on our 3rd bed, so my mum often lost her pillows in the night down the back. Cleaning I didn't find the cleaning of an expected standard - i would say it was very poor - our bedsheets were not changed for the whole week, and the floors were not at all moped - especially the dusty/dirty patio area - but most alarming to me was the fact that the kitchen area and bathroom surfaces/shower was never wiped down and we saw the cleaner wash the cups/glasses i our room with water only and her hand. So we never used them again. tea stained spoons, bins sometimes missed and not emptied on some days - but towels changed daily. Towels again we very cheap/basic. Also the pool toilets were miserable and smelly. Food The snack bar seemed so cheap and nasty - food had birds flying in taking food - it was also really cheap hot dogs and burgers, chips which was not what i've encountered before, no other heathier options such as salads. However, the main buffet restaurant food was very good and high standard - from breakfast through to dinner. Watch Outs/Info I was disappointed that drinks are only ever served in plastic basic cups or disposables - everything felt "cheap" or cutting corners. You're allow to get drinks in glasses in the restaurant or in the bar in the night. Also the queue's for drinks during the day and night felt ridiculous - yu cannot help yourself to soft drinks so even though I don't really drink alcohol, i'd have to join a long line for myself and my son to get a soft drink or tea/coffee at the bars. Different to other AI's i've stayed at. Staying on the theme of them being cheap/basic and cutting corners, queue's for coffee/tea in the morning at breakfast was also soul destroying - not enough machines, no machine just dispensing hot water for team, and those cheap minature coffee cups only. TIP - take a mug/decent sized cup, be prepared to wait for a hot drink. Also, restaurant dining room chairs were plastic - again felt all a bit cheap and sticky. NO English or british stations on the TV atall but it did have netflix so we could sign in to our own account. We asked about it and they said they had problems on the island with english satellites which we felt was a lie but who knows. Staff on reception seemed very nice. Found the wifi a bit hit and miss and keep having to connect, or it loose Wifi signal at certain places such as in

Stayed during the Easter school break as a family of 4 with 10 year old twins. Hotel grounds are lovely, everything else was pretty average and I wouldnt say this is a 4 star hotel.....far from it. Grounds: Well maintained grounds and pool areas, plenty of sun loungers but hardly any umbrellas so not a lot of shaded areas particularly at the busy pool. Football park for kids which was excellent. Rooms: We stayed in a junior suite, fine for a family with young kids but too small for us. 2 single beds in the bedroom and 2 single couch beds in the living room which were rock solid. Bedding was stained on all 4 beds and not changed throughout our stay. Room was pretty dirty, stains on the floors, walls, mould in the shower. Nice balcony with table and chairs. Food & Drink: Main buffet restaurant was like a canteen, constant queues outside often 20 deep with people waiting to get inside. Food not replenished quick enough, often trays were empty and you were hanging about waiting for fresh stuff to be cooked. Not enough plates, cups etc - often had to go and get a paper cup for my coffee. Plates and glasses weren't cleaned properly and often dirty. Not a lot of choice for kids. Only 1-2 people serving at the pool bar during busy times so always a queue to get a drink. We ended up eating out every single night! Entertainment: We didn't stay in the hotel at night, the main seating area was a like a cafeteria and there was nowhere else to sit. Overall, the hotel was understaffed for the amount of guests which created queues for pretty much everything. The dining room was chaotic as was the area for drinks at night. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel, it is an average 3 star. We wouldn't stay again, have stayed in nicer 3 star hotels in Lanzarote.

Stayed in a Senior Suite room located in block 2, overlooking the quiet pool. Hotel itself is excellent. The grounds are very well kept with ample space for everyone. The pools were cold, but absolutely fine 'when you were in'. Didn't have to fight for sunbeds, though there aren't many areas with shade if you need it. The quiet pool area was really quite relaxed, plenty of space and a small bar to get drinks during the day. The main pool was much livelier with with plenty of music and entertainment with bar and snack bar close by. The food overall was good. Can't fault the breakfasts at all. There were a couple of evenings where the selections weren't quite as good, but that is probably on us and what we like rather than what was on offer. Food wasn't always piping hot and as ever in a buffet restaurant, it can be a bit of a free for all with lots of people moving around and piling the plates high. So, whilst the food was more than adequate and you won't go hungry, dinner isn't exactly a 'relaxing, calm dining experience' and is somewhat noisy and chaotic, but that's not unique to here. Rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. Costa Teguise is lovely with a nice selection of small shops and bars. Generally quiet though and far from lively on an evening.

Firstly, this hotel was fantastic. We were concerned on arrival as we were given a ground floor family room 2136 and we had requested an upper floor, but I have to say Im glad we got ground floor now, we loved our room, best one we've stayed in anywhere by far. It looked out onto the quieter pool, and the verander was huge enough for all the family to sunbathe with shelter from the breeze at the sides. It was perfect. The room was massive with two bedrooms and a huge lounge area. We hope we get this room on future visits. It was immaculate on arrival, and fresh towels for everyone were received often, with a toaster, kettle, and all utensils. The all-inclusive buffet was plentiful and always something different. Salads were lovely. Drinks were very nice with plenty of choice. I didn't notice the entertainment,but we spent our evenings in the Square or walking along the front most nights, so I couldn't comment. The location was perfect, only a short walk across the road to the beautiful beach. We love Costa teguise, so the lovely hotel just topped it off for us, and we will hopefully be back. Unfortunately, during our stay myself, my son and my husband were hit with what was thought to be a sick bug, so it spoilt our last 3 days, hence why I say we hope to return soon, but this wasn't anything to do with the hotel, as there was a bug circulating. Luckily, there was a chemist 2 mins up the road. The only thing I would recommend is that the hotel tops of its lovely service with a small tea tray in the rooms along side the kettle with a few teabags,coffee, milk and sugar as it's always nice to have a cuppa when you arrive late at night. Oh, and to top off this lovely hotel, we never saw 1 cockroach in our room the whole stay like we have in previous hotels. BONUS! We were given a courtesy room upon leaving to shower, etc, which was handy. We definitely recommend this hotel to everyone's families and singles,couples alike. We really liked it.
