Similar to other comments about negative reviews I would encourage you to remain open minded... especially if you've already booked. I stayed here for a week with my two children of 17 & 4 and they both thoroughly enjoyed the stay, as did I. The location is superb and whilst there is a shuttle to the beach, we walked there and back on several occasions (remember your water) as we were eating far too much it was our best form of exercise. 20min is about accurate and a steady incline on way back. We were on the 6th floor, standard room, ample space, decent wardrobe and hangers. We had the most impressive views of pool, mountains and sea. The balconies are large and very private! Being that high up I guess there was less noise too. I got worried about lack of sunbeds from reviews but there wasn't a problem and we came and left at different points of day. Best time is afternoons and it's cold in morning anyway. If you don't want same spot each day you'll be fine! Genuinely found majority of staff engaged, welcoming and respectful especially in main restaurant and reception. Pool side restaurant lunches were not great most days although chips were cooked better than in main restaurant The main restaurant; breakfast in my opinion was the best because I loved the scrambled egg. Dinner; the salad bar had a wide selection of items and fish dishes but other pasta and meats were touch and go each day. The spa was disappointing as water very cold and jets not working mostly. Didn't stay there long. Smelt lovely though compared with other areas of hotel. The comments about carpets in rooms and also some communal areas is true, my issue was less about cosmetic and more about the smell especially kids games rooms. I couldn't last five minutes in there. Maybe investing in different flooring would be a quick win to avoid pests and also disgruntled guests Did we complain about these small things no! As what was important was what we chose the hotel for pools, location and facilities at an affordable price. We agreed each day we would definitely come back especially if we can get the same room 629 or similar. I was compelled to write a honest review simply because I think it's important to give the hotel and it's team a chance!

Location was great about 20 mins walk from the beach, shops and restaurants. Pool is stunning and nicely divided for children and adults. We managed to get sun loungers most days. Not to much of people leaving towels on loungers. Spa - you need to pay for and this is where the gym is about £15 each. Furnishings in the room and public areas are dated and could do with some updating. The rooms though were a good size with nice bathroom and balcony. Breakfast was good. Dinner was ok plenty of choice but I tend to eat out. Staff all helpful and pleasant.

We arrived on 10 Aug for 5 nights. Have to admit that I was extremely apprehensive after reading reviews. IT WAS NOT AS BAD AS PEOPLE HAVE MADE OUT ON REVIEWS ROOMS: could do with a makeover, they are basic but clean. towels changed daily. I was anxious when reviews mentioned bed bugs. Not a single one, bed sheets were clean. No Tea & coffee facilities but there are machines at the bars and you can take tea/coffee/drink up to your room. FOOD & DRINKS: food was lovely, plenty of choice. We had fussy eaters in our party and they had no problem finding and trying different foods. NEVER SAW A COCKROACH ONCE on any of the food! Drinks are ok, same as every other all inclusive I have been to. POOL: There are a lot of sunbeds. There is the usual crowd of people who rush to get one when pool opens at 9:30. A deposit is paid on credit card for towels when you arrive. Towel change is €2. No balls/floaties allowed in pool. Pool can be a bit untidy and not washed down /cleaned every night underneath sunbeds. ENTERTAINMENT; We didn’t go to the entertainment, we chose instead, to play cards at the piano bar instead . Shuttle bus to beach/center of town Shuttle bus to the larger shopping center Local shop 10 min walk away Taxis cheap Aquapark is good. We spent half day which was plenty time TIPS: take an extension lead

I am not one for complaining so we have just put up with this whilst away (I’m not sure the staff would have cared anyway) I do feel I should warn others however so they have the chance to rebook. This place is disgusting! All tour operators need to send mystery guests immediately to see what they are sending holiday makers into. Cleanliness is not a word they know here, the pool are is covered with a weeks worth of litter and food. The bar areas and halls are all carpeted, yet the sound of a vacuum cleaner isn’t something I’ve heard all week. Though they are strategically placed vacuum cleaners around the hotel, I do feel these are for show. The rooms themselves are awful, see the photos above of our room. And we were one of the lucky ones, there have been people leave the hotel due being bitten to pieces by bed bugs and I don’t just mean one family complaining. There has been multiple people saying this. There are no bars open indoors until 6.30pm just a pool bar which although adequate doesn’t offer a place to relax away from the sun. All bars are understaffed, there is one bartender per bar at anytime which leads to them being overrun with customers. To top it off on the last day we have a power cut and they are only serving water or wine at the bar… the rest you are made to pay for!!! Food is typical AI food, beige and to be expected, however check what you are eating, there were vegetarian labelled dishes that were clearly meat based! All in all this place needs to be avoided…. Please if you can change your Hotel then do it, I know it’s cheaper than the rest but it’s really not worth it!

Terrible hotel. Dirty, outdated and very badly run. Rooms ok but in serious need of modernising. Sleep non existent as supposed air con blows hot air on you! Plastic chairs on balcony are a death trap, one actually collapsed whilst I sat on it (I'm of slime build) injuring my arms. Upon inspection of the remaining chair I can see why it collapsed as they are cracked and worn on all the legs. Reported to staff 3 timed before anyone would listen, but they simply removed the remaining chair, so we could no longer sit on balcony! Reported to rep but got told they had no chairs left! This is a serious health and safety issue though regthe state of the chairs (ill add photos). The food is diabolical, if you have kids which we had prepar to eat out a lot as literally nothing for them. The drinks aren't much better. Staff are rude and have no time at all fir the guests, the blond bar lady and older pool bar man are particularly unpleasant. Reception staff don't seem to know what they're doing either. They let us keep our room on a few extra hours on checkout day (I think to try and shut us up about the chair) but then tried to be intimidating regarding us staying too long in it! They got told politely to get lost! The pool area is filthy, cigarette butt's, cups, straws and general litter never gets lifed from 1 day to the next, the pool attendant simply brushes the previous days rubbish under the beds each morning. If you look in the pool you'll also see the dirt lying at the bottom of it. The disco/bar area is also filthy, your shoes stick to the carpet if you sit too long, although this shouldn't be an issue as you'll move pretty quickly once you see the cockroaches crawling out of the furniture (see photos). In short this hotel should be shut down on health and safety grounds, you'd have to be mad to stay here.

Avoid at all costs don't waste your money or ruin your holiday by going to this place!!!!!!!!!! Best bugs over 50+ bites on me got moved rooms on the last night and continued to get bitten! Staff are well aware this place is riddled with them and don't seem to really care! Ruined mine and my partners first holiday together was good for about 2 days then all down hill for the rest of the week! Shame as it's a lovely big hotel and has alot of potential but definitely biggest mistake in my life going to this hotel - would not recommend to anyone! Spent more of my time and money trying to soothe the pain and stop the weeping coming from my bites. Rooms not clean found toe nail clippings around the bed... cleaner carries a hoover around but clearly doesn't use it! Absolute joke of a place!

we stayed at the beatriz hotel for 1 week mid july 2024. on arrival the staff were very nice at reception and we had arrived late due to our flight being delayed. we were offered a cold dinner that i served at 11pm as we had missed the usual evening meal, this wasn’t very suitable for vegetarian options but fine enough for those who do eat meat. we checked out our room before this and so think the rooms are slightly dated, but suitable for just sleeping in although the beds are extremely uncomfortable as well as the bedding. the balcony and bathroom were great, very clean and nice view of the pool area. the food at the hotel is very hit or miss, some days/nights are great and others are not (just something to keep in mind for vegetarians as they like to add meat into a lot of their vegetables). the hotel is in dire need of air conditioning as it is extremely hot 24:7, the rooms do offer air conditioning but you may as well open the balcony door for better ventilation. the pool are is great, 3 pools mini golf and tennis area although we did not use these so can’t give a review on those. night time entertainment is also hit or miss, there is something on everything night including kids mini disco (is very good but only last about 15/20 mins or so) the singers, karaoke night and huddling/acrobatic acts were great. this hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the local spar and aquarium. and a further 5/10 minute walk from stalls and the beach we found these quite easy to find. there are a lot of local excursion stalls near by also, a lot of them pick you up via the hotel and drop you back off. overall the experience we had was good and we enjoy tour holiday and our stay. keep points to follow if you are looking to book at this hotel 1. bring an electric fan or something of the sort as the hotel is extremely hot the entire time. 2. breakfast and lunch are a lot quieter than evening meal time as expected however people can be very pushy and shovey so would abuse getting there as it opens or wait a short while and then dine as busy times are extremely busy. 3. arrive early for sun beds (9am) or wait until after 4/5pm when it gets quieter as there are limited beds, unless you book premium at the hotel then you have separate sun beds to use that are barely used. 4. do not book here if you are looking for a hotel next to the beach, even though the nearest beach is approx 15 ish mins away the beach isnt the best and very busy. hope this review helps!

We are a family of 5, with 2 x 19 year olds and a 16 year old. We came with an open mind having read some really mixed reviews but have been pleasantly surprised. It obviously comes down to expectations and you have to consider the hotel is one of the older resorts. The rooms are very spacious, the resort is large, the pool is huge and the restaurant large enough for us never having to queue. The food itself varied everyday and we never went hungry. It was pretty good quality for mass dining and we all enjoyed a good breakfast and main meal every day. The only struggle we had was seating a family of five as there aren't any tables for bigger families but they do allow you to push them together. The pool bar serves lunch as well as the main restaurant and at all other times of the day they provide wrapped rolls, fruit etc. The all inclusive drinks included the cocktails and Cava along with San Miguel lager, wine and all spirits. The beer and wine I self service in the main restaurant. There is a smaller bar behind the main reception downstairs with pre dinner music, like Elton John looks likey or just nice piano music. The resort is a bit further out which we actually liked as it's a nice stroll down into the main resort and despite other reviews we read an fairly easy walk back if you are mobile. If not the hotel offers a courtesy bus 3 times a day. Honestly for the money we paid we have nothing to complain about. People do queue for sunbeds and annoyingly reserve them before going out but we always managed to find some and drag them together. There are some nice sheltered spots from the breeze although on hot days it was welcome. The staff are courteous but don't expect them to be overboard on greetings and smiles. From what we saw there are a fairly small amount of staff working really hard everyday and I wouldn't expect anymore than the service we got which wad absolutely fine. If you have read bad reviews don't be put off. You will be in a big room with air conditioning, you won't go hungry or thirsty, you will have a huge pool to swim in and the evening entertainment is a fun watch. It's a good value hotel.

Me and my boyfriend booked a 11 day holiday here very excited but when we got there it looked a bit of a dump from the outside. Still with high hopes we proceeded to think it’ll get better, the room was okay and the pool was lovely. No waterfall as shown on images and in the evenings if you were lucky enough to get a seat anywhere, the shows/entertainment were not to the standard for the rating of this hotel. Additionally if you don’t like fish then the food isn’t for you. Tiny buffet even though two are shown on websites. Also, we could not take drinks up to the room and there is a sign stating that the mini bars are filled up and we can’t put anything else in there… however nothing was put in and we had to get drinks from vending machines which cost a fortune (not exactly all inclusive). The best thing was the Spar down the road to be honest. If you’re away with kids then the food is not really simple foods for kids (eg nuggets and chips) but the pool is lovely - salt water mainly with one small chlorine pool which is warmer.
