리리뷰어Hard Days Night Hotel is in the heart of The Beatles area, next to Mathew Street where The Cavern Club is located.
Despite its being weekend, we didn't hear any noise at night from our room on the fifth floor. The bedroom was large and pleasant. (Our room had a picture of George - my favourite Beatle - on the wall, which made me very happy!)
Things some people find remiss are (1) no fridge in the room (at least not in the Classic Double), (2) TV had a very basic remote and fuction, and while it claimed to allow internet access, we couldn't use any app /mirroring from our iPhones; (3) toiletaries were very basic (just liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner refilled); (4) no movable shower with a hose.
Breakfast was truly excellent! It's self-service buffet-type, but all the full-English parts were there and they were all very, very good.
We also went to a bar in the evening and it was also very nice with Beatle-themed cocktails, in addition to usual drinks.
Overall, we would definitely love to come back to this hotel!

리리뷰어Pleasant Stay with a Few Shortcomings
My stay at the hotel it had its pros and cons. On the positive side, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made my experience more enjoyable. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast was outstanding and a great way to start the day.
However, I encountered a couple of issues during my stay. While the room appeared clean overall, the linen had an unpleasant smell, which was off-putting. Furthermore, some areas seemed to be neglected in terms of cleanliness.
Despite these issues, the hotel has potential, and I believe addressing these concerns would significantly improve the guest experience. I would give my stay a rating of 3 to 4 stars, as the friendly staff and delicious breakfast were notable highlights.

AAnthonykaka호텔은 앨버트 독과 매우 가깝고, 근처에 비틀즈 박물관, 해양 박물관, 난민 박물관도 있습니다! 도보 10분 거리에 대형 존 루이스 쇼핑몰도 있습니다!
호텔은 전반적으로 깨끗하고 직원들은 친절하지만, 화장실이 조금 낡았습니다! 하지만 가격 대비 훌륭해서 다시 방문할 가치가 있습니다!

리리뷰어Good location nearby shops and the train station 5 mins walk. Basic room but clean. Shower was great and the river view was decent. Rooms are soundproof for the busy road outside which is great. Breakfast was lovely and great choice of cooked and cold food. Coffee not nice but that's personal choice.
only down is no leisure facility even though there's one right next door. Noisy fan in the room

리리뷰어이곳은 정말 깨끗하고 좋았습니다. 저는 여성 전용 도미토리를 예약했는데, 깨끗하고 조용했어요. 위치도 정말 좋았습니다. 기차역에서 걸어서 10분 거리이고, 근처에 교회와 다른 관광 명소들도 많았습니다. 시내 중심가까지도 걸어서 10분 거리입니다. 주방은 넓고 무료 차와 커피가 제공되어 직접 요리해 먹을 수 있습니다. 냉장고, 전자레인지, 토스터도 갖춰져 있습니다. 다만, 제가 방문한 시기는 비수기라 사람이 많지 않았습니다. 객실이 많이 남아 있어서 성수기에는 분위기가 다를 수도 있을 것 같습니다. 다음에 리버풀에 갈 때도 이 숙소를 다시 선택할 것 같습니다. 신용카드로 예약했는데, 프런트 데스크에서 카드 정보를 확인하더라고요. 이런 경우는 처음이었습니다. 혹시 모를 사기 위험 때문에 카드 번호를 입력하고 뒷면의 보안 코드까지 잠깐 확인하더군요. 다행히 저는 미리 종이로 보안 코드를 가려놓은 상태였습니다. 신용카드 정보를 요구하는 것이 합법적인 절차인지는 모르겠지만, 보안 코드를 미리 가렸어야 했나 봅니다.

Just wrapped up a fantastic two-night stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool and wanted to share my thoughts! At £126.90 plus a small £4.80 property fee, it offered excellent value for a city center experience.
The location at 46-48 Foley Street puts you right in the heart of Liverpool, which was perfect for my mini-break. Being centrally located meant I could easily walk to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas without relying on transportation. The vibrant city atmosphere was right on my doorstep!
I stayed from **Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2025** — a perfect two-night city escape. Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived.
The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city.
What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking.
The app's ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The ”Manage Booking” function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place.
Is it a five-star luxury hotel? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Phoenix Hotel Liverpool delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located place to stay at a reasonable price point that lets you experience the best of Liverpool without breaking the bank.
**Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Liverpool with good amenities and friendly service, this place ticks all the boxes. Perfect for weekend city breaks, concert-goers, or anyone wanting to soak up Liverpool's vibrant atmosphere.
