We now have Starlink internet service and air conditioning in both the main house and guesthouse! Maximum of 2 boats (1 tied to the dock, 1 moored a buoy ball). No use of wave runners or jet skis allowed. Fireworks allowed only on the 4th of July unless there are any county restrictions in place. No loud music.This property would also be great lodging for family attending a wedding in the area. It is not ideal for a traditional wedding as it does not have a flat, outdoor area by the water for a reception/ dance floor.Cancellation Policy is actually 100% refund if cancelled 9 months prior to check-in date and within 48 hours of booking, whichever is later. Private Mountainside Getaway nestled among the cedars of the Mission Valley mountainside, this newly-renovated cabin is a refreshing destination, a romantic getaway, or a cozy home base for a Montana adventure. At the end of a private road, 1/8 mile from the main house, it is completely secluded. Easy to get to, but completely off the grid, this clean cabin is comfortable night and day with electric heat / air conditioning. Features full-size washer and dryer, and full-time wifi.Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered balcony -- in your pajamas, if you like! Relax by the creek as you watch the water tumble over the rocks, explore the shaded cedar groves and ferns along the mossy creekside, and let the stress of busy life melt away as you breathe the clean mountain air.Make dinner together in the full-size kitchen, grill on the patio (propane grill provided), or call a local restaurant for delivery.2 bedroom, 1 bath, enclosed garage parking, full kitchen, laundry, and wifi.Upstairs features vaulted ceilings with timber beams. The balcony overlooks a small pond and fish hatchery that houses Westslope Cutthroat trout during spawning season. Upstairs bedroom has a king size bed with vanity sink and large closet. Bedroom on lower level has a queen size bed, full size couch and television. There is also a cozy reading nook on the lower level as well as a washer and dryer. Accommodations are on 160 acres of private land with a creek and walking trails just outside the door. Surrounding area is tribal wilderness.We live in the main house 1/8 mile away and work from home so are available to answer questions or offer assistance at anytime.We have been off the grid for over 25 years. Our 4 cabins are located in the quiet, but adventurous town of Dayton, MT and are great for groups and individuals alike. Each cabin is 2BR, 1BA, sleeps 6, and is located 1/2 block off the lake. Step off your water view patio, and down to the public swimming hole, take a walk along the waterfront, head out for a day of sailing, or sea kayak and hike around Wild Horse Island. Bike to Mission Mountain Winery, grab a burger and a beer at the Idle Spur, or head up lake to Tamarack Brewing.We are excited to host intimate groups and larger groups alike, offering 4(ea) 2-bedroom cabins.
