우드스프링 스위트 라파예트(WoodSpring Suites Lafayette)

Area is trashy and questionable, front desk double charged me over a hundred dollars for someone else’s room.

For the price point this was a pretty good stay . Lionel the manager when we checked in was very hospital and friendly . I didn’t look for coffee makers in the room and that was my fault , this is more of an extended stay type of place but the vending machines had plenty of options and the gym was good enough for some cardio . The air conditioning worked well and was quiet , which I appreciated . It is across the street from an airport so if you wake easily this might not be for you . The sink in the bathroom leaked when turned on and when I notified the staff in the morning they made sure to make a note of it , it was a Saturday into Sunday morning stay so I didn’t bother calling down the night of , we just used the bathtub faucet . Water pressure worked well in shower and heated quickly . Overall good stay .

Dirty, dogs barking all night across the hall, people smoking cigarettes everywhere, gym never cleaned, room wasn’t swept when we first entered our room, seemed more like an apartment building where people just live there, no manners…only positive was the man at the front desk. Very helpful.

Smelt like cigarettes throughout the entire building and room Would not recommend at all

No internet service during 4 night stay. Management said they weree "working on it." When i asked the clerk abut the lack of service, she said since it was "free" internet, there was no obligation to provide connectivity

Stayed there before. This time the television didn’t work, stain on the sheets, 1 bed when I booked 2. I’ll stop there

We didn’t even get to stay! Booked online when I called the night of checkin to let them know I was gonna be about 8:00 that night checking in I was told that being I didn’t check in by 3:00pm an didn’t pay that my room was released!! I told the clerk I choose the option to book now and pay later, she responded with “I can’t help what 3rd party does, you didn’t check in at 3 and you didn’t pay therefore your room was released!” So I then ask well do you have another room available I’m almost there a need a room, I was told no I do not have another room for you! So I ask her “so what am I supposed to do now for a room tonight with my family? And she responded with “there’s other hotels in Lafayette mam you can go to one of those!!” So I told her oh so you’re a real smart ass, how nice of you, you have a great night! If this is how your workers try to accommodate guest then I’m Glad we didn’t get to stay, cause I can only imagine how terrible the service there would have actually been!! I will not ever be booking any hotel stays with WoodSprings Suites!! And I will let everyone know how I was treated as a customer.

From the start quite a bit of folks hang around parking lot front, sides and the rear of building after dark. The front desk employee told me two too many times it’s her first day for any questions she didn’t have answers for. Stain in hallways also the stairs are a great hang out with interesting people! We know because Elevators broken down. I needed to switch to maybe a room lower because of previous amputations I’ve had she said they were completely booked I guessing most folks don’t drive, parking lot mostly empty. The only thing I liked was the price. Unfortunately, it took a long time to check in. The elevator was out so we had to take the stairs to our 4th floor room. The carpet in the halls were severely stained. There were no toiletries. I had to buy handsoap. You only get 2 sets of towels. If you need more, you have to trade them out with the front desk. Staff comes my in the morning to knock on your door to see if you are checking out. I will never stay here again.
